I plan to give birth at strong memorial hospital. I have united healthcare, so I’m looking for somone who takes that insurance. Lastly I was told I have a funneling cervix and have a short cervical length left. So I’m in bedrest. I am 25 weeks pregnant. I switched from seeing a midwife to a high risk doctor. I am hoping to find a dula to help me through my labor and time.

Delayed cord clamping, the golden hour, etc. Looking for someone to educate and support me through this process, and also advocate for the kind of birth I want. Also support if I decide to have an epidural. I want to breastfeed right after birth and looking for support from someone knowledgeable through that process as well.

Having home birth, birth plan is unmedicated and trusting myself.

I want a home water birth for my 4th child, but I'm open to delivering in a hospital with proper support. I've never been delivered by any of the OBs I've seen for prenatal care in my previous pregnancies. The most important thing for me is to work with someone who will see me through the entire process of prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.

My Tricare plan covers up to 6 hours prior to birth and one visit during l&d. 3- I’m wanting to try for a Vbac and labor unmedicated for the majority of labor, but am open to/considering an epidural once active labor occurs. I had an emergency induction with my first pregnancy at 35 weeks due to cholestasis, and ended up having an emergency c-section as well due to failure to progress and concerns of fetal distress by my OB. It was an incredibly traumatic experience that I’m hoping to avoid this time around. My main goal is to use the least amount of medical intervention possible.

Interested in a home birth but my husband is pretty against it. My first was born in a hospital and i was induced. Everything went fine but i really don’t want to be induced with baby number two. Birth plan: no c section unless absolutely necessary

This is my second and I feel if I had someone walking with me who understood the process, even the nutrition and emotional side of post and prenatal life it would be helpful.

Dad and I need that extra layer of support to help speak up for us and we need a birthing coach it’s important for us to be able to deliver vaginally so we need techniques and someone to help us get through it . Both of our mothers are deceased so it’s important for us to have that support . We would like to deliver at the hospital just in case and my insurance will cover services

John Hopkins Hospital Price: $1,800-2,000 My goal is to have an Unmedicated birth. This will be baby #2 for us. I had a pretty bad experience with my first where my wishes and concerns were completely ignored. I really wish I had someone there to advocate for me when I couldn’t think clearly, my nurse was very evil person and caused a lot of pain and negativity while I was in labor. I get back labor, and the pain is so unbearable I’d really need someone to help me cope and push through! I’d also love a doula who is very informative on certain things hospitals tend to force mothers into. Would love if my doula were seasoned with At least 4 years of experience. I had a very hard time with postpartum recovery which I believe hindered me from being able to breastfeed since I was under so much stress. I would really love to breastfeed this time around.
