I’m looking for a doula or midwife who will help me to have a smooth and safe labor and take my concerns seriously. Someone who cares and loves what they do. I’d love to try for a home birth if possible.

Hospital open to birth options but want to go natural

I want to plan a home birth but if I end up with hospital it’s okay. Being at home seems more comfortable. A estimated budget I’m not to sure how this all works as I am a first time mom. Still trying to figure out a birth plan.

I am around 8-9 weeks pregnant and would like to educate myself further on looking into midwife and home birth services! I would like the best option that is the most covered by insurance, but out of pocket up front for delivery services we could do $500 and maybe come up with a co-pay plan if we owe more.

I am planning on giving birth in a hospital, but I'm wanting extra support from a doula. I don't know what an average doula costs, but we would probably want it to be as inexpensive as possible. I don't have a birth plan, that's why I'm wanting a doula is to help navigate that!

Layton Hospital This is my first search for doulas, or help, so I’m unsure budget planning. But willing to see options. Most of what I am looking for is education and support to get me ready for birth and to educate me and my husband on what to expect. I would like one that is supportive to hospital births. One that educates without opinions, and then allows me and my husband to choose. I have a very supportive husband, and this is our first delivery so I would like help on a birthing plan and vaccine plan.

I plan on laboring at home for awhile before going to the hospital to carry out the birth. I do not want any interventions during birth(epidural, pitocin, constant fetal monitoring, manual water breaking, immediate cord cutting, new born vaccines, etc.) I will have a written birth plan to support these wishes. This will be my first birthing experience and I would love to have the support of a doula before/during this experience. I want to be as prepared as possible for an unmediated birth and have tools to help me through. The experience/support of a doula seems like a good fit for myself and my husband.

I am giving birth at LDS hospital. I do not have an estimated budget at this time. I am really looking for someone that will advocate for me and my husband while giving birth and will help me through possibly an unmedicated birth. I also want to make sure my baby is never taken away from our sight and that he is not given anything we do not approve. We are on the fence about a few medications and we want to make sure it is not given to him while we are not paying attention. I also don't want them to force any medication on myself or our child.
