Hello! My name is Jessica Schultz and I’m a certified postpartum doula and advanced newborn care specialist all over Maryland and DC .My passion is supporting families during the postpartum period, helping taking care of their newborn babies at nights. So I can help the parents understand the importance in rest, nurturing , and emotional support during this special time in life. I also assist with breastfeeding, establishing sleep routines and anything else that will help with getting you’re family through the 4th trimester.

Recent review

Jessica is great! We worked with her as our night nurse for our newborn twins and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the first night she helped allow my wife who was recovering from a c-section get sleep and not have to worry about the logistics of feeding, soothing, and changing the twins at night. Once she recovered and returned to work we continued to use Jessica for as-needed support. She's always flexible and reliable and having her around has been a tremendous help. She loves our twins like their her own and I would recommend her to anyone else looking for care.

Strengthening new and growing families as a doula has been profoundly significant and valuable during the start of my career. I enjoy empowering families, promoting health, and fostering resilience for birth moms.

I loved my experience with Alisha. From the start to the ending. Talking to her about the pregnancy use to bring me comfort. She gave me plenty of resources while pregnant and after I gave birth. During birth she was extra supportive. Even tho my birth plan did not go as plan she stuck by myself my whole c section and held my hand. 23 hours in labor she kept me calm bringing games and everything to keep my mind calm. I just overall appreciate her and if I ever had another baby I would want her as my doula again. 5 stars isn’t enough to rate her. She more like a million stars. Thank you so much for the experience and the comfort you bought through out the experience. And I appreciate you.

Hello! My name is Sydney and I am a full spectrum doula in Baltimore City! I attended Temple University, where I studied Anthropology with a concentration in human biology, and continued to live in Philadelphia for about three more years before moving to New York, and then back to my home state. In 2019, I started gaining an interest in birth work through my studies, and decided to volunteer with Baltimore Doula Project as an abortion doula and the Philadelphia Alliance for Labor Support (PALS) as a birth and postpartum doula. In 2022, I became a certified full-spectrum doula through Cornerstone Birthwork, and started taking my own clients independently. While in Philly and New York I attended 40+ births and served 20+ families during the postpartum period. I currently work Independently providing in-person and remote support, as a travel doula, and with Doulas of Baltimore providing birth and postpartum support for families in Baltimore City. I embrace the overall diversity of my work and experiences as something that has made me a very well-rounded doula. One of the most important things to me as a birth worker, is autonomous care. Outside of my studies, I am a very passionate and outspoken advocate for sexual and reproductive health education, accessibility, sexworker rights, and human rights. In my free time I love to sew, thrift, go to social events, swim, and enjoy nature. **I accept Medicaid and Carrot Fertility Benefits**

Hi! I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) with experience in assisting breastfeeding in all stages, from pregnancy to introducing solids to weaning. I graduated in 2021 from the University of Maryland with my Masters in Public Health and have been working ever since to advance community health through education and advocacy. During my first pregnancy, I found the idea of breastfeeding to be overwhelming and despite my background in public health, I felt entirely unprepared for what to expect. Because of key support figures like my lactation consultant and my mom, I was able to work through the challenges and breastfeed my daughter for over two years. Breastfeeding is often framed as something stressful, stifling, and painful. While it can be all of those things at times, with the right support I have found it to be joyful and rewarding. I believe it is time to step aside from the useless debate of breast is best vs. fed is best (which ignores the unique context of every individual), and instead focus on supporting parents and infants through individualized approaches to the goals and environments of each family. My goal is to help you find joy in your own feeding journey and succeed in a breastfeeding relationship that is mutually beneficial, enjoyable, and meaningful for both you and your little one. I can’t wait to work with you!

We had a wonderful experience with Jenny as our night doula. She cared for our newborn daughter over the course of a month and a half. She was communicative, prompt, and immediately put us at ease with her warm and reassuring presence. Not only was she a help to us in caring for our daughter overnight, but she always made sure to check in with me and how I was doing postpartum, and was generally just lovely to chat with and get to know. Her professionalism, trustworthiness, and knowledge were evident from the start, and she handled everything with such care and attention. I had the absolute pleasure of having Avivah as my baby nurse after my C-section, and I truly don’t know how I would’ve managed without her. From the moment she arrived, she brought calm, care, and competence into our home. Hi! I’m Nicole and here’s a bit about my story. I became a Birth and Postpartum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist because I truly believe parents deserve to feel supported, not overwhelmed, during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum stage. This season is tender, emotional, and life-changing and my role is to be by your side with compassion, knowledge, and reassurance. I meet families exactly where they are—honoring their choices, their culture, and their intuition. While providing evidence-based guidance and calm, grounded support, and respect for each family’s values, and understanding that there is no “right” way to give birth or parent a newborn. Whether you’re preparing for labor, navigating the early postpartum weeks, or adjusting to life with a new baby, my goal is to create a calm, non-judgmental space where YOU feel confident in your choices and supported every step of the way. My philosophy is centered on nurturing both baby and parent. Whether I’m offering hands-on newborn care, emotional support during birth, my goal is for you to feel seen, heard, and never alone. I focus on promoting rest, recovery, and bonding while helping families establish gentle routines that feel realistic and sustainable. I view my role as both a guide and a steady presence. I believe when parents feel supported, they thrive — and that belief guides every part of the care I provide.

Caroline was incredible! We absolutely loved getting to know her and working with her during this pregnancy and birth. From her calm supportive presence to coaching me through a largely unmedicated labor (which I never could have done on my own!) to visiting us after birth and bringing incredible food to help get through the early post partum phase, her support made our birth experience so much more joyful . I will be recommending her to all pregnant friends in the future!
