As a dedicated Newborn Care Specialist with over 30 years of hands-on experience, I bring deep knowledge, compassion, and calm expertise to families during the earliest and most tender stage of life. My career began as a nanny in 1994, but I quickly found my calling in newborn care, supporting families through the fourth trimester with an emphasis on sleep shaping, feeding guidance, and emotional reassurance. I’ve worked extensively with singletons, twins, and high-order multiples, including newborn quadruplets, and pride myself on creating customized, evidence-based support that adapts to each family’s needs and values. My goal is always to ease the transition into parenthood with a steady hand, a warm heart, and deep respect for each family’s rhythm. I’m passionate about continuing education and remain current on best practices in infant care, sleep science, lactation support, and postpartum recovery. Families who work with me describe feeling truly seen and supported, often telling me I bring both professionalism and magic into their home. Whether I’m offering overnight newborn care, helping establish healthy sleep habits, or empowering new parents with gentle education and reassurance, I show up with empathy, precision, and a deep commitment to nurturing the beginning of a new life story.

As a Newborn Care Specialist, I offer compassionate, knowledgeable overnight support designed to help both baby and parents rest more peacefully. During overnight shifts, I typically arrive in the evening and care for your newborn throughout the night, handling feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and monitoring sleep patterns, so that you can get uninterrupted rest. If you’re breastfeeding, I’ll gently bring baby to you and then handle the rest, giving you time to recover while knowing your baby is in expert hands. Beyond just tending to baby’s needs, I also quietly observe and document feeding and sleep patterns, offer gentle guidance for establishing healthy habits, and support any goals you may have (such as beginning sleep shaping, bottle introduction, or adjusting routines). I aim to create a peaceful, supportive presence in your home, bringing not only skilled care but also deep respect for your parenting choices and rhythms. My goal is always to help you feel rested, confident, and truly supported during these tender early weeks.
Brandy was my night doula and is one of the reasons I survived the first few months. She is incredibly caring towards babies and post-partum mothers. She was supportive even after hours when I had questions about my daughter. I honestly wish she were part of my family so I could see her regularly. Truly one of a kind!
