After decades of caring for newborns becoming a Newborn Care Specialist made sense. Earning the certification has offered me the opportunity to reach out to families with an enhanced professionalism even though I approach my work with the same kindness, caring, evidence based information and deep rooted experience. My extensive training and knowledge coupled with my experience insures you that your baby will given the utmost care. Feeding guidelines, sleep shaping, purposeful play during wake windows and lots of cuddles. I bring the ability to align with your family core values and expectations with understanding while offering support and guidance. I support families of all configurations. Open communication and team work is key for the best results. I am fully background checked/ vaccinated/ American Red Cross Child CPR & First Aid certified.

Newborn Care Specialist/ Postpartum Support/ Newborn Overnight support

My focus is on supporting the whole perinatal family by accessing the needs and wants of each unique family unit. I support families of all configurations. My extensive training and lengthly experience as a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, mood disorder assessment and resource provider, neuro-play method and lactation educator allows me the flexibility to support families in all aspects of the perinatal phase of their lives.

What to expect

When a baby is about to join the family the whole family changes. I offer newborn care support, daytime and overnights. I have expertise in breast or bottle feeding or a combination of both, newborn sleep support, purposeful play during wake windows and lots of cuddles. As well as, baby laundry, keeping up with nursery supplies and washing bottles/ pump parts. I’ll be glad to make simple snacks and keep baby items well organized. Since each families needs are all unique the care package we build for you will be too.

How long will I need postpartum support?

Each family is different in their need based on a variety of factors. In our first conversation we can evaluate your situation and I will offer you suggestions. Working with me insures that I will be your support person each and every time. I do not source out my clients. This gives us an opportunity to build an authentic relationship. And allow mw time to get to know your baby well so that my evaluations on situations are based on my relationship with you baby and not a blanket fix.
