I’m looking for a lactation specialist to help me get started with breastfeeding and pumping. Important things to note, I’m looking to breastfeed to help with potential withdrawal as I was on suboxone while pregnant and they said it could potentially help if he were to show any signs. I also have hepatitis C, and was told that cracked/bleeding nipple will transmit it to baby. It’s important that the consultant be aware of these 2 things. My baby was born November 26th and i have tried getting him to latch everytime before a bottle but he just goes to sleep as soon as he puts my nipple in his mouth. I’m not sure about a budget, but am flexible there as this is very important. Also may be interested in some help once or twice a week with cleaning my house

I’m nursing when I’m with my baby but when I’m at work I pump. When I nurse he’s satisfied and not hungry anymore, however when I pump I can make enough to make him bottles.

Certified lactation consultant. I’ve been exclusively pumping for the last 2 months and it’s been very painful the entire time. I’ve been to my hospitals lactation consultant 3 times within the first month for help but nothing she has recommended has helped me. She measured me for flanges and gave me 3 different sizes but they all seem to hurt.

I am having pain with latch even though the latch looks good. I had really bad nipple damage first few days postpartum which I’m letting heal with just pumping. I’ve been using a nipple shield and I still have pain. I have been exclusively pumping and feeding baby that way, but I would really like to just breast-feed. I plan to give birth at Baptist clay hospital in Fleming Island. I will be 39 years old when I deliver. This will be my second birth and I have a mild cord insertion. My first child was born at a birthing center with a natural vaginal birth. I'm hoping to have a natural vaginal birth this second time as well. Looking to spend under $2,000 and really only interested in help on delivery day as well as photography at delivery. My birth plan as mentioned above is a natural vaginal birth, I'm not looking to be induced or have pain medication. I'd like to do skin to skin immediately after birth and delayed cord clamping. In addition, I would like my baby to receive all of the standard childhood vaccinations such as vitamin k, eye ointment and Hep b. I have no other high-risk symptoms other than my age and the mild cord insertion. All of my other vitals have been great. And just for history, my first birth was at age 36.
