I have a one week old baby that I can’t get to latch. We had no issues in hospital with him getting a good latch, but due to a severe tongue tie, I had to take a break and just pump because of extreme pain, cracking, etc. we rotated breast milk through bottles and were able to get a couple of successful latches with a nipple shield. We just had his tongue and lip tie released Wednesday and have yet to get him to latch on my breast. We occasionally have success with a nipple shield, but only once or twice a day. Interested in a Medicaid covered provider.

3month old Breastfed baby having a hard time taking a bottle from the babysitter. She uses the Pacii bottle and says if he is half asleep he will take a full 3oz’s but when he is awake mainly in the afternoons he gives her a hard time and only takes about 1oz then cat naps and is back up wanting more since he didn’t get full.
