I’m pregnant with twins and due August 9th. We live in Columbia, MO. I tried to breastfeed my firstborn, who is now two years old, but it was a nightmare. She would fall asleep instead of feeding, no matter what the lactation consultants or nurses did. I also had several very long sessions where I tried to breastfeed her but I don’t think she was getting milk. She would cry. I had to use nipples guards to help her latch but they would keep falling off. I ended up triple feeding for a while (trying to breast feed, then feeding pumped milk or if I didn’t have enough milk, feeding formula) but it was utterly exhausting. I pumped but I started producing less and less milk. I got mastitis and then shortly after my milk stopped producing. I want to try to breastfeed the twins, but I know I will need a lot of support. One of the biggest challenges in getting support last time, was that I was too sleep deprived to drive to a lactation consultant and I had no one to drive me. I would love to find someone to come to our house.

My milk supply has drastically dipped over the last week or two. I wasn’t making a lot to begin with so it has hurt my supply a lot. I’ve been drinking more water, eating oatmeal, taking moringa and trying to empty as often as possible and so far none of it has helped. I latch baby during night time feeds and pump the side she doesn’t nurse on. During the day, she’s been biting so I’ve been pumping and bottle feeding. How can I increase my supply?

I need support producing lactation for my baby that's coming. I'm 3 months pregnant and I want to sets lactation to be prepared for providing breast milk so I can nurse my baby. I am going to have my husband present and have and midwife in the home with a birthing pool. I plan to give birth at the hospital, I already had one baby but my experience in birth was really bad I wan someone that knows about birth that can fight and care for my needs My in-laws at giving me this experience away so I’m not really sure what is their budget I want to have golden hour skin to skin with my baby, delay the cut of the umbilical cord, they are my priorities, and I want to learn about breast feeding, with my first we didn’t have the support we wanted at the hospital with this and didn’t know how to get it so I couldn’t breastfeed. Hello, I am in need of assistance with latching my baby. As well as pumping and increasing my milk supply. I am not getting much milk when pumping. I’m not 100% sure if I am using the proper flange size. I also have been experiencing some pain when pumping and breast feeding.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. My estimated budget is about $200-$300. My birth plan is to labor for a bit at home before going to the hospital because I progress quickly. Im 23 and pregnant with my first. To be honest im genuinely terrified of every aspect of this experience and it’s causing me to lose so much sleep and stress more than i imagined. I’m planning on a hospital birth with an epidural. I don’t normally tend to fully go the holistic route always. I’m out of work and am relying on my fiancé financially.
