Naomi is looking for Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Panama City, FL 32404, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: August 11, 2026
I plan to give birth at Gulf Coast hospital in Panama City FL. I am mainly looking for someone who can assist with my child’s birth and ensuring all my desires are advocated for. My birth preferences/plan essentially boil down to wanting as little medical intervention as possible while still giving birth in a hospital (in case something serious/life threatening happen). I also have plans to exclusively breast feed and I’d love help to make sure that I start off on the right foot with that journey. I do not have an estimated budget as I’m sure the costs associated to what I am needing are very customized and specific to my needs. I am open to discussing what any doula has to offer me and what they believe the appropriate going rate for their services should be. I’d then make an informed decision from there if I believe it’s appropriate to move forward with their support. |

I plan to give birth at the Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine. I currently see the midwives in the OBGYN Associates office there. I would prefer to use insurance (United Healthcare Community Plan- Medicaid). As far as birth plan, i definitely want to avoid an epidural if possible. Minor pain medicine is okay but nothing too crazy. |

Hello, my name is McKayla Bostick, I am currently switching insurances and I’ll be covered by SoonerCare. I am planing on focus birth at St. Francis Medical Hospital. I have heard about Doulas accepting Humana SelectCare and was wanting to stay within a chart that would cover that. I would love to get prices and fees if not covered by that insurance. I am wanting to go natural without any medication, Pain traversing that may push labor faster. I am still wanting to figure out more what exactly will be the detailed specifics because I do still have 4ish more months. |

Location: Derby, KS 67037, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: December 02, 2025
My baby seems to never get satisfied off of breastfeeding and will eat for hours when I try to feed her. However she’ll only drink 3-5 ounces of formula. Which when I pump I make just that, so I’m thinking maybe we have a latch issue because it is a little painful sometimes, not terrible but she also has crazy suction. Would like to do an at home appointment if possible, maybe we could weigh her before and after a feeding. We have Aetna insurance, as well as Kancare. You can reach me at dayyysies4@gmail.com or my phone number is (316)226-2627 Thank you - Daysha smith |

Kay is looking for Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Hattiesburg, MS 39402, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: January 24, 2026
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I’m open to pricing conversations. This is my first time as a mom so I don’t know where to begin with budget talks. I want to labor at home as long as I can with support before going to the hospital to reduce interventions that are unnecessary. I want to try my best not to have an epidural. I want to be free to be in different positions to help the baby move through. Afterwards i don’t want to be rushed to cut the umbilical cord or have them push on my stomach to force the placenta out. I want it to happen naturally and if interventions are needed that’s the only time I want to consider. I do want to try my best to breastfeed but I don’t want to strictly nurse. I’m interested in pumping and possibly combo feeding. |

Deborah is looking for Postpartum Doula, Mental Health Therapist, Lactation Consultant
|
Location: Wichita, KS 67217, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: June 22, 2026
I would like to have a weekly mom group I can be a part of. I live in Kansas. I struggled with postpartum depression with my last pregnancy. It consumed me for 6-9 months post partum. I had to take zoloft and attend weekly therapy consultations. I was on mental health watch from my doctors. My health insurance provided me with a nurse that called me once a week. It was the winter in 2020 and I was all alone. I had planned to breast feed and had all the supplies but no milk came. That is what triggered my PPD. I felt like I wasn't really a mom and I didn't deserve to have a child since I couldn't properly care for it. I felt like a burden to my baby and every single person I ran into (stranger or friend or family member) Their very first (or second) question was "Are you breastfeeding?" and I would just drown from my own grief and guilt of being clearly insufficient; and shut down completely. I dissociated and felt the walls closing in. This mental collapse made caring for a newborn difficult since I was not bonding with my baby I was just feeling worthless. And babies play off of the vibes of the mother. A calm mother will have a calm baby. A distressed mother will have a distressed baby. And so the snowball rolled. I want to be proactive this time around. I want to have a support network that feels real and authentic. A penpal? An online class with cameras so that we can all see each other? I plan to give birth at the hospital and my plan is to go with the flow. That is what feels the best for me. Planning and over planning something like giving birth is a mistake, in my opinion. I want to experience it as it happens. I want to feel the needs of my baby and provide my body with the mental support it needs. I want to have a caring nurse there who advocates for me better than even I can, because doctors can be harsh and rude and labor can alter moods/emotions. I watch "Call the Midwife" and I would love to have someone like that. But midwives are expensive and I cannot afford them. My income is about $40k annually. I do not have low-income govt assistance. I have health insurance through my employer. I plan to take 3 months Maternity leave. |
