If you are on the fence about including Bridgette in your birth and postpartum journey, let this be your sign to absolutely do it. As a first time mom, she provided care and love for me and my family in ways I didn’t even know I needed. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes a team based approach in every decision. I had no qualms or hesitations about placing my trust in her because at the end of the day I knew she had my back all the way from her birth/breastfeeding classes to every step throughout labor. Although my birth experience did not go the way we had planned, I wouldn’t be able to look back at my experience as positively as I do if not for her. She genuinely felt like a big sister and best friend throughout the whole experience. Even my husband, as he recounts our birth experience, sings her high praises and felt incredibly supported by her as well. Because of her, he even goes around telling new parents that they have to get a Doula because of how amazing Bridgette was. I genuinely feel like we were meant to cross paths and now my life and experience as a parent is better because of her. Seriously, she’s amazing. You would be remiss not to have her on your team.

Bridgette was so incredible to have on my team during labor and delivery. She was responsive to calls and texts throughout the day, and when she showed up to my room at the hospital she brought such an incredible energy. My baby’s birth didn’t go according to plan, but Bridgette was with me when I had to make difficult decisions and I am so grateful. The hospital staff loved her as well! Bridgette was so helpful after L&D; she called and FaceTimed my husband and I multiple times to check in, answering lots of questions that we had. Bridgette helped me during my pregnancy and birth of my daughter born October 2025. She is professional, helpful, and such a warm/calming presence. As it was my first pregnancy, i was very anxious and unsure about what was to come. Bridgette took time to explain things to me and answer any questions I had while keeping the energy light and fun. My personal favorite was her “lock in” method when i was pushing during labor. I firmly believe my first child came out after only about 10 minutes of pushing due to that method.

Best decision. Bridgette was my voice and gave me strength in my toughest time of need. She made my natural labor smooth. I don't know what i would have done if she wasn't there. As a lactician, i would have given up on breastfeeding if she hadnt pushed to to not give up. The hospital wasn't as helpful, but with Bridgettes support and guidance my child is 100% breatfed. Postpartum services were also amazing and hands on. She is definitely a part of the family.

Bridgette was truly an answer to my prayers before going into labor! She provided the support I needed to have a natural unmedicated birth and was present through it all. There is nothing easy about going in to have an unmedicated birth but having a doula makes a world of difference. I felt like my husband and I could focus on the emotion side of giving birth while Bridgette could constantly be the rock for the rational side in the birth room which was huge to allow me to turn that side of my mind of and be in the moment for each surge. She gave me the confidence to stick to my birth plan, she provided the best way to angle my body during each surge and get that baby moving along with tools to help me through the back labor. Throughout labor she could constantly switch with my husband to ensure I had someone reminding me to breath and then someone to always provide the counter pressure which was a huge difference compared to my first birth and not having a doula. Bridgette is also the sweetest and positive minded person so she has such an encouraging atmosphere to her which is all pros for birth! Thank you for making my birth experience one I can be so happy to look back on.

Bridgette McQueen is truly a heaven sent QUEEN ! God is so good and right on time. Not to spill the tea on my situation but in summary I was left the only decision to become a single momma during my pregnancy at 14 weeks gestation. Sad and heart broken I found strength in researching doulas. I came across one doula and it just wasn't a match but one random day Bridgette gave me a call as she saw I was inquiring about a doula on bornbir. From that phone call conversation we have been growing our relationship. Bridgette is goes ABOVE and BEYOND for her clients. To Bridgette there is truly no limit for what she will do for you as far as support and fulfilling her role as your doula. Bridgette has been with me since that first phone call and has never left my side. From prenatal appointments, ultrasounds, labor and delivery, and multiple post partum visits, and more to come out of our relationship. She provided me with what I thought I was going to lack in. She provided me with support, education, guidance, love, and above all 10/10 service with no complaints. Hands down the BEST doula ever! After my first child, I knew I wanted a doula for my second and when I found out that certain Medicaid now covers the cost, I was ecstatic! First meeting with Bridgette was heaven sent and I was so comfortable & at ease! We discussed my previous pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, & postpartum experience and my dream experience this second time around. During my entire pregnancy she was a phone call or text away at any time, giving so much knowledge & answering any questions or concerns I had. My labor was absolutely PHENOMENAL from the aromatherapy, massages, & helping with dilating QUICKLY! We laughed the ENTIRE time and the atmosphere was so great that even the nurses & doctors kept coming in the room with us to get some good energy! The support was through the roof! I didn’t have any family that was around until it was time to push, so the fact that Bridgette was there & helping me along the way was everything! She even stayed overnight with me in the hospital because I didn’t have family that was able to come & was induced at 4pm one day and baby didn’t come until about 2pm the next day. After that, she helped with postpartum & breastfeeding as well. With my first I had difficulties breastfeeding and Bridgette made sure this time around everything was good to go! Even when my baby boy & I were struggling with latching during the first week, Bridgette came next day to make sure we got it handled since that first week is crucial for lactation. Fast forward 7 weeks later at my postpartum appointment, my doctor was still raving about her and telling me how she was handing out her business cards to patients. If I could give a thousand stars, I would. I HIGHLY recommend Bridgette as the number one doula!

Bridgette was amazing! She came to my rescue a week prior to my delivery date it was so last minute, I'm so happy I choose Bridgette, this is my third Birth, my first two Labor experiences were not great at all in my hometown with the nurses and doctors and no doula.
I started labor 1:00 am and she made her way to the hospital as soon as i told her i was contracting, Bridgette was so caring, She held my hand through every contraction, Told me how to breathe and she had me in Multiple positions for gravity to naturally work itself for my son to come out as easily as possible and it worked tremendously ! As the nurse stepped out the room , my son started to crown and was born with just Bridgette in the room to help assist with this quick delivery of my son. I could not have done this without her! She is such a sweet and caring lady. She also visited the home twice for post Partum check up with my son and i.
I'm thankful every day for this great Healthy birthing experience that I will never forget but nonetheless, I will never ever forget Bridgette .Thank you so much

Bridgette is absolutely amazing! I instantly felt comfortable with her during our initally virtual meeting. She provided us with class before the birth and gave us packets of information to keep which I found extremely helpful. She was very responsive to all my texts and also sent me checking-in text to see how I was doing. She was very hands-on and proactive in keeping my comfortable during my birth. She was very knowledgeable about how different hospital operated and worked great with my delivery nurses. She was able to help me establish my breastfeeding journey after I struggled in the hospital. She helped me talk through and process my birth experience.
