About Anansa

Anansa Lattimore whom we lovingly refer to as "Nzuri Asha" which means Beautiful Life in Swahili. Nzuri is a certified and continues to further her development as a doula. She has been working as a CMA for 10 years and focused in OBGYN for 6 years. During her OBGYN years, she has also received certification to co-facilitate Centering Pregnancy groups through the Centering Healthcare Institute and a certificate for completing the Strengthening Community Health Worker Programs from Harvard University. Her desire ultimately is to serve all women, but she is passionate about being able to serve the African American community and bring awareness to the care of African American women and teenagers who need and deserve during this special time in their lives, as well as empower those same women to use their voices and make more informed decisions about their healthcare.

Birth & Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Basic Birth Doula Package

This investment includes one consultation, two prenatal visits to discuss your plans and hopes for the birth, and attendance at your labor and birth. It also includes one postpartum phone call and one postpartum visit to celebrate your baby, discuss the birth, and talk about any postpartum challenges.

Preferred Birth Package

This investment includes one consultation, three prebirth planning sessions to discuss your plans and hopes for the birth, and attendance by your doula to either a doctor's appointment or a childbirth education class. It also includes attendance at your birth, one postpartum phone call and 4 postpartum visits (each 1 hour) to help you and your family recover from birth and adjust to parenthood.

Ultimate Birth Package

This investment includes one consultation, three pre-birth planning sessions to discuss your plans and hopes for the birth, and attendance by your doula to either a doctor's appointment or a childbirth education class. It also includes attendance at your birth, one postpartum phone call, 6 postpartum visits (each 1 hour), and 2 prepared meals to help you and your family recover from birth and adjust to parenthood.
