My baby has not been latching since birth. We figured out he had a liptie so had the procedure done almost 2 weeks ago. He is still not latching and my milk supply has plummeted. I sm determined to breast feed my baby not exclusively but partial of the time, and I would like to increase my supply as well. I live in Riverdale, the Bronx. I have Fidelis Medicaid and would like to find someone with in network.
My baby has a weak latch and prefers the bottle- after 3 weeks we are still having trouble latching except occasionally with nipple shields, and I am mostly pumping and bottle feeding and having engorgement and pain if I don’t pump every 2-3 hours. I’d like to try and transition to breastfeeding and work on getting a latch! I’m looking for someone in-network with Aetna.
