I may have a work project starting late next week that would run 2–4 weeks. It isn't confirmed yet, so I'm looking for someone who's comfortable with a flexible start date. I’m due with my second baby on 10/22. I’m delivering at Greenwich Hospital, and working with midwives from Northeast Medical Group in Stamford. My goal is an unmedicated birth with minimal interventions. My daughter was born in May 2025 in NYC. I went into labor at 39 weeks. I had a doula and made it to 6cm unmedicated, and opted for the epidural as I had been awake for over 24 hours and needed rest. Things progressed quickly from there and I had an uncomplicated vaginal birth. This time I’m hoping for a faster labor and to not need the epidural. I breastfed my daughter for 11 months and would have liked to go longer if I hadn’t been pregnant. The beginning was very challenging because of flat nipples. I primarily pumped until she started latching at 6 weeks, and things were relatively smooth from there. I’m hoping for an easier start to breastfeeding this time. I am a stay at home mom so hope to breastfeed for at least a year with minimal pumping. I know I will need early lactation support to achieve this. I’m looking to spend less than $2500 for a birth doula, and hope insurance will cover some. I’m looking for someone who will be very hands on in labor, and help me to labor at home as long as possible.

My right breast has nearly stopped producing milk. It’s producing about .5 oz. My breast is definitely starting to get heavier and there are some hard spots. I’ve tried using my Spectra and Willow Go but both produce the same output. My right is my weakest compared to my left but this is definitely a new low

We can't finish breastfeeding. My daughter is 2.3 years old. Chaotic attachments, feeding at night to wake up. It doesn't accept refusals, it's impossible to distract. Gradual completion is not possible.

Looking for someone who can travel with a lot of experience. My wife is anxious by nature, so we need someone who is very calm, understanding, and comforting. Budget is flexible.

First baby, will deliver at Riverview Medical center, want a unmedicated birth and to avoid pushing on my back. Need an advocate to help with sticking to my birth plan and would like to do the non active labor part at home with my doula present.

My daughter is an ex-30+5 week preemie, born 4/29. I have done multiple weighted feeds with her pediatrician, who is also an IBCLC, and her milk transfer/weight gain has been reassuring. However, I feel her latch is shallow and she frequently swallows air while nursing. She occasionally pops off during a strong letdown, sometimes cries at the breast, and I can sometimes hear her gulping air into her belly while feeding. We are also currently navigating a potential milk protein allergy. I have been dairy-free since August 5 due to blood and mucus in her stools. I’m looking for an in-home lactation visit to assess her latch, suck/swallow/breathe coordination, milk flow/letdown, and swallowing of air, and to help make breastfeeding more comfortable and efficient for both of us. I’m hoping to use insurance coverage through Aetna.

I having my first baby. I plan to have an unmedicated, natural birth at Saint Peter's birth center in New Brunswick, NJ. I would love a doula to coach my husband to ensure he is part of the process as well. I would love a doula that brings helpful labor tools (TENS unit, birth ball etc).
