Hi! I need a doula in the tricare east network and covered by incerance that can help me in a water birth at a birthing center. We will be moving half way through my pregnancy to Texas. This is my first baby. I plan to give birth at a birthing center. My estimated budget is about $800- $1,000. I think I will need guidance for labor and delivery prep more than anything since I am wanting to go unmediated.

This is my first pregnancy/baby, and I aim to have an unmedicated and minimal intervention birth in a hospital. It is important to me to have a professional experienced with natural ways to intervene with possible issues that may arrise such as baby being in an unideal position before birth, and someone who can help guide me through a natural labor.

I have an OBGYN and will be delivering in a hospital but I want a doula there who could be my voice on the day of delivery. I want an unmedicated birth with minimal check ups, delayed cord clamping, immediate skin to skin, and only give vaccinations to my baby that are necessary. I also want my baby to stay in the room with me and any procedures they need to do can be done in my postpartum room. I have UMR with United Healthcare Choice Plus Network.

I will deliver in a hospital. I have delivered 5 babies vaginally with an induction and epidural. I have not gone into labor naturally. I am concerned that another epidural would present health risks (experiencing possible nerve damage currently). I need someone that can coach me in labor and motivate me prior to labor. I have issues dialating but when dialated labor goes very, very quickly. I am unsure of the average costs of a doula, so do not have a budget yet. We have excellent conventional insurance, but will be paying all the hospital pricing, so we cannot spend a ton extra on top of that.

I’m experiencing a slight bleeding and am on vacation here in Avon and would like an opinion but the urgent care facility offered no help… Is it possible for you to come to my time share unit at the Windham in Avon Station?
