I am trying to find a doula that will create a calm environment for an at home birth

Hi I am looking for a doula and a midwife that will listen to my needs and what I need and the baby needs.

I plan to give birth at the mission trails Baptist hospital. This my 2nd baby and my plan is to go unmedicated. I think what I really need is just positive reinforcement when I’m feeling like I cant.

I need a safe space so what I say is heard before birth during birth, and after I would like someone that is sympathetic and easy-going I have a very hard at home life and it’s affecting my pregnancy now I have a high risk pregnancy and I have gallstones i’m not getting the best. I’m not drinking enough water and I already have a one-year-old toddler. I don’t have the best way of payment, but if y’all take any insurance, I do have Aetna. My birth plan entails trying more options instead of induced labor and epidural. With my first. I had very bad experience with both. I would like to try walking around and ice chips and any other way besides the epidural

I am currently 14 weeks (due May 9th) into my first pregnancy. My husband and I are looking for a doula to assist with an unmedicated birth at Holmes Hospital. I go to HealthFirst and my doctors rotate, so any of the 6 could be there for my birth. We would love for a doula who knows us and can help assist with our birth plan and for the unexpected in the moment! We would love to schedule a consultation during the week after 5:00pm if you can be available then. We are most interested in learning more about Laboring Down, Unmedicated Birth, avoiding birth laying on the back, and delaying infant vaccinations until 2 months or later.

I am 100% unprepared and over whelmed. I don’t really have a birth plan yet but have a rough idea. We will be in a hospital and I don’t have any idea what this will cost. Looking for someone that can help in the hospital and at home afterwards. It will be just my husband and I. All my family is out of state. This is my first baby and I have no idea what I am doing or what is going on at this point lol…

I need a midwife that is CNM certified so that Tricare will cover it. Unfortunately we cannot afford a midwife on our own and need to walk through what our insurance will cover. We don't know our situation yet as far as a home birth or needing a midwife to meet us at a nearby hospital when the time comes so we would love someone able to do either one. One big factor in desiring a midwife is to have the personal care and time of the same provider at each baby appointment and to be able to reach out to that midwife at anytime if I have questions or concerns along the way in pregnancy.

We want to try a home birth but are worried about the pricing to find someone for that. So maybe a hospital birth if that's a bit more affordable. Our budget is probably 1-4 grand. My birth plan is to be as natural as possible, no outside intervention unless absolutely necessary.

My husband and I have been undergoing IVF and just found out we are pregnant. Looking for information on doula services annd possibly postpartum care/help and costs. This is my 3rd but husband first. He’s very nervous and hoping to have help in being the best support system. Due to my age 37 and it being IVF I’m hoping to deliver in hospital the baby place in St. Petersburg. Open to water birth and understand my options but also open to epidural. I had postpartum with my oldest son just want to ensure the support is there.
