Hello everyone, my name is Bailey Lundberg and I am a certified Birth Doula and Placenta Encapsulator located in San Diego, California. Birth has been my joy and passion for several years now. Coming from a background in nannying my love for babies and birth propelled me to become a Birth Doula and Placenta Encapsulator. Also, coming from a more holistic background myself I find that having a doula present at birth that shares the same values reinforces the power and beauty of birth. In my free time I love baking cupcakes from scratch or walking my dog.

I am here to help you have the birth experience you want. Whether it is an unmedicated birth, or you get an epidural, you are at home or at a hospital. I am here to support you. I am not here to judge anyone’s decisions or beliefs. My job is to support you in your choices. It is your birth experience let’s do it your way. When it comes to my clients I like to have a gentle touch, and a grounding presence. I also find adding in a dash of humor here and there helps lighten the mood. I am a strong ally of the LBGTQIA+ community, and would be more than happy to take on and support any clients who are part of that community. My doula experience began at UCSD through the Hearts and Hands program, and I still volunteer there today. I have taken childbirth education classes, breastfeeding classes, Newborn Care classes, and I am Infant CPR and First Aid certified.

As a first-time mom who planned for an unmedicated vaginal delivery, it was important for me to have a doula. We chose Arri to support us and deliver our baby girl in early September. It was such a pleasure to work with her and have her be by our side in the last trimester; it made me feel so confident that we can tackle anything that comes our way. Arri was such a calm spirit, very knowledgeable about all the techniques that my husband and I can use throughout the last month of pregnancy. We learned a lot through the initial meetings, and she validated that we were learning the right things in our research and classes. Her hands-on approach to showing us laboring positions and also all the tips and tricks to having the house ready for our newborn was so useful! Having Arri on call and responsive via text during my last few weeks was important to have a knowledgeable voice, guiding me and my husband through every step of the way. She coached and guided me through my labor contractions and help us move through early laboring at home, to sending ourselves to Sharp March Birch. Having Arri there for the delivery was exactly what I hoped for, a grounding person who wasn’t one of the multiple nurses and doctors who were buzzing in and out of the room. She knew my birth preferences, and supported my husband and I throughout the entire experience and was there with us from start to finish all the way through the recovery room. Definitely chat with Arri to be your doula, she was great!

We are beyond grateful for Bettina as our doula for the birth of our son. She immediately felt like a family member upon first interaction. She was wonderful teaching me and my husband techniques to prepare for birth, incorporating our ideas and needs, and helping our birth be the magical experience we were hoping for. Bettina was the captain to our team that was able to function seamlessly. She helped us communicate and all feel safe and heard the whole way. We would have her again as a doula in the future.

I’ve always been a doula, a giver, a sister, a person to lean on. I love all aspects of what I do, whether it’s physically holding hips or emotionally holding space. Within my practice I try to achieve a 50:50 balance of the spiritual, energetic with the scientific, evidence-based. As I learn more about you, our conversations shift to augment the type of support that best resonates with you and supports your goals. I am a certified labor doula (CLD) and certified postpartum doula (CPD) through DONA (Doulas of North America) and ToLabor. I have attended many births in various settings - homebirths, birth centers and hospitals. I actively attend workshops, courses and continuing education classes on childbirth, hypnobirthing, spinning babies, breastfeeding, postpartum, newborn care and holding space for pregnancy loss. I fully believe that all pregnant persons have an innate inner-knowing that is a powerful guide through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Our time together will emphasize self-discovery as we listen to your intuition, practice mindfulness & breathwork, energetic healing & support, and prepare for a birth as unique as you are

With 15 years of experience as a dedicated doula, I’ve had the honor of supporting countless families through the transformative journey of birth and early parenthood. As a proud mom of six, I bring a deep, personal understanding of the joys and challenges that come with welcoming a new baby. My hands-on experience, combined with years of professional support, has shaped me into a trusted newborn expert—offering compassionate, practical guidance to help parents feel confident and cared for during this sacred season of life.

Recent review

Hiring Abigail Smith as our postpartum night doula was, without question, the best decision we made as new parents. From the very first night she walked into our home, she brought with her a sense of calm, warmth, and deep compassion that changed our entire experience of early parenthood. She didn’t just care for our baby — she loved our baby. And she didn’t just support me — she held me, emotionally and spiritually, through some of the most tender, vulnerable nights of my life. In every moment, she was present. Gentle. Wise. Unshakably grounded. Each night, Abigail created a peaceful, nurturing environment for our little one to thrive and for me to heal. She knew exactly what we needed before we did — whether it was expert swaddling, lactation guidance, a warm cup of tea, a reassuring word, or simply space to sleep without worry. Her intuition is unmatched, and her professionalism is seamless. But more than all of that, Abby loved us. That love showed up in every tiny detail — in the way she soothed our baby back to sleep, in how she respected our rhythms and choices, and in how she always, always made me feel seen, safe, and never alone. She became part of our family. Letting her go at the end of our time together was genuinely one of the hardest goodbyes we’ve ever said — that’s how much of an impact she had on our lives. If you're lucky enough to welcome Abby into your postpartum journey, know this: you are in the presence of someone truly extraordinary. She is not just a doula. She is a healer, a nurturer, and a quiet, powerful presence who will carry you through the night with love.

Babies are a blessing and childbirth is a miracle! I’ve been blessed with four beautiful children and six beautiful GRANDchildren myself. With my love of babies and the incredible miracle of birth, I found the desire to become a Postpartum Doula. Bringing a new baby home is a life-changing event and integrating that new little bundle of joy into the family can be overwhelming. As your Doula, I will make this transition easier for the entire family. My role as your Doula will also be to provide education, non-judgmental support and companionship. I will offer my expertise in newborn care and breastfeeding support. I will also offer evidence based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, infant soothing and coping skills. I will make appropriate referrals when necessary. I am a certified Doula through DONA International. The training I received through DONA increased my knowledge and ambition to offer the nurturing care new moms, infants and families so deserve! Hours for my services will be flexible to meet the needs of your family including overnights and travel. I am current in both adult, infant CPR and First Aid Safety Certifications through the American Heart Association. Also, I am current on vaccinations and Trustline Certified. I look forward to being your “extra pair of loving hands” and my goal is to simplify your life as new parents.

Hi, I'm Sydney, a perinatal Registered Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Cousultant, and mom of two toddlers. I am dedicated to educating and equipping parents to make informed and supported choices for feeding their babies. I offer in home lactation support in San Diego county and virtual support nationwide.

Sydney is amazing! My husband and I attended her breastfeeding essentials class when we were still pregnant, and it helped so much to know what to expect once baby was here. Once our son did arrive, it wasn't what we were expecting (he had to be in the NICU for a few days) and working with Sydney once we were all home helped so much in our breastfeeding journey! I was nervous about how hard it would be to have him transition to fully nursing after being on mostly bottles and formula in the NICU, but Sydney came to our house to give tips and observe how he was nursing and do a weighted feed, gave us a simple plan that was easy to follow, and was so helpful in the transition from triple feeding to just breastfeeding! We are so grateful for Sydney!

I offer overnight support for families with newborns. Besides supporting parents in the care for their newborn I also love to ‘mother the mother’ as she needs to rest and recover in the fourth trimester. I offer practical support, such as help with (breast)feeding, making sure mom stays hydrated and rested, clean bottles and pump parts, help with baby laundry etc. I also provide evidence based information on newborn care as well as emotional support to process all the changes and offer parents encouragement where needed. I’m your biggest cheerleader to become confident in your parenting skills and style!

Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California, specializing in supporting moms navigating what I call the "Motherhood Midlife Crisis." This phase is marked by a profound identity shift—when you’re no longer who you once were, not quite who you expected to be, and uncertain about who you are now. It’s a journey of becoming that can bring feelings of anxiety, grief, overwhelm, and deep uncertainty. In my work, I help moms build confidence in themselves and feel grounded in who they are at this moment. My approach blends compassion, mindfulness, and practical tools to support moms in their unique journeys. Drawing on my background as a professional school counselor and child therapist, I also provide parenting support as a tool for growth, helping moms embrace their role as both caregivers and guides for their children. I transitioned to working with moms because I saw the ripple effect: when moms feel whole and grounded, they can provide the loving support their kids need to thrive. By helping moms, I hope to create lasting change for families, helping children grow up with the stability and care they deserve.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my bio, my certifications are immense in incorporating everything that I’ve learned in my own life, though taking the time to be certified in newborn care specialist, sleep training and conditioning, lactating specialist, and Doula. On a more personal levelI love being outdoors, cooking and creating a safe and healthy environment through both creativity and knowledge. My life is also been deeply shaped by resilience. During Hurricane Katrina, while at a family reunion, my family suffered complete devastation losing eight homes. Despite this tragedy, I felt compelled to help. I was deputized by the Red Cross And remain in Louisiana for three months where I developed and lead a disaster assessment team specializing in logistics, a system still in use today. Strangely enough this experience is what first led me into caregiving a career where it is I have never felt more alive or purposeful. Were I do not hold a specific degree my education spans multiple international schools, including the American school in London, the American school in Hampstead. A suburb of London. I am one that’s practices, kindness, offers, love, guidance and embrace patience and tolerance, as mentioned above. I love teaching through art and making every day moments a learning experience. With young children, I narrate what I am doing, always asking permission and showing respect even with a newborn I will gently explain what it is. I am doing in every step. I believe communication and respect starts from the very beginning.
