About me

I love being outdoors, cooking and creating a safe and healthy environment through both creativity and knowledge. My life is also been deeply shaped by resilience. During Hurricane Katrina, while at a family reunion, my family suffered complete devastation losing eight homes. Despite this tragedy, I felt compelled to help. I was deputized by the Red Cross And remain in Louisiana for three months where I developed and lead a disaster assessment team specializing in logistics, a system still in use today. Strangely enough this experience is what first led me into caregiving a career where it is I have never felt more alive or purposeful. Well, I do not hold a specific degree my education spans multiple international schools, including the American school in London, the American school in Hampstead. A suburb of London. I am one that’s practices, kindness, offers, love, and guidance and embrace his patience and tolerance, as mentioned above. I love teaching through art and making every day moments a learning experience. With young children, I narrate what I am doing, always asking permission and showing respect even with a newborn I will gently explain what it is. I am doing in every step. I believe communication and respect start from the very beginning.

Service introduction

Whilst always being a student of learning more. That is my intent to constantly fulfill and challenge myself to learn more. As always, in this industry, things are constantly being updated, and I consider myself to be available to learn more on a day-to-day basis. Whilst I have many years experience in the forementioned categories, I still consider it’s best to approach with humility and open mind. My ideal position would be to be available to a family that has a newborn. Offering my skill set, experience and intentional effort to help the child be safe with overnight nanny care, including sleep, conditioning and training, offering support through lactation and whatever needs the new mother would be challenged with. I am available 50 to 65 hours a week.
