Hello, my name is Colleen. I cannot wait to support you on your postpartum journey. After studying Middle Eastern and North African Studies at UCLA and spending a decade working in the non-profit sector, I had my first child during the pandemic. I was fortunate to have a ton of family and friends as support, but did not have anyone whose sole purpose was to be my advocate and unbiased shoulder to lean on. I had a variety of challenges with breastfeeding, but through determination and education was able to nurse my first daughter until she was three and a half. I grew a passion for nursing and am now a Certified Lactation Counselor. With over a decade of experience as a career domestic violence and sexual assault advocate, I bring a unique trauma-informed lens to my work. A mother of three, it is my passion to provide non-judgmental comfort and assistance to parents navigating the sacred portal of the fourth trimester.
As a 2nd time mom exclusively breastfeeding who struggled the first time with my son I knew that I wanted more guidance this time around. I'm so glad a found Colleen! She is so patient and non judgemental I felt so comfortable and empowered this time around on my breastfeeding feeding journey. I would 100% recommend Colleen to family and friends

Colleen helped me in so many ways as a new mom. She was able to provide me with insight during my pregnancy that I had not even thought. It was really nice to be able to go to someone who I knew was un-biased and non-judgmental on how I wanted to approach things. She provided me with useful information and guidance that allowed me to make more confident decision. Once my baby was born, Colleen was always available to answer my questions and concerns. My biggest hurdle was breast feeding and Colleen was able to help when it came to latching and mastitis. As a new mom, it was so comforting to have someone in my corner, who I knew could listen to my questions and concerns and be there for me when I truly had no clue what to do. Colleen was such a help and I am so thankful for her.

Colleen was amazing to work with. I was having issues with baby girl staying on my breast to feed and she guided me in positioning and gave helpful tips on making me and baby feel comfortable. Breastfeeding can be a challenge for many, Colleen was gentle and made the entire process seamless. With her help I was able to get baby to latch and stay on my breast for my baby’s feedings. She not only listens to your concerns but prioritizes them as well.
