Duties may include helping me move safely, assisting me in and out of bed or chairs as needed, preparing light meals and snacks, ensuring I stay hydrated, helping me stay on top of my medications, providing emotional support, and performing light household tasks such as tidying, dishes, and light laundry so I can focus on healing. I am looking for someone who understands C-section recovery and can help make the postpartum period less physically demanding. I'm looking for a postpartum expert that can help me navigate life after delivery. Preferably someone able to be an extra pair of hands, teach me parenting tips and tricks for caring for a newborn, and ease the worries that come up in the early days after delivery.
