Camille began 17 years ago as a Holistic health and nutrition coach and then an Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. She later became a Postpartum Doula after realizing her clients bonded better with each other and with their baby as she nourished new mothers to speed their healing and while teaching them specialized newborn care skills. Camille advanced her training as a Certified Lactation Educator Counselor through UCSD and is waiting to sit for the 4 hour lactation bar to become an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Her work with 2000+ mothers with lactation and their newborns provides new mothers confident their recovery and feeding goals, as their body transitions into a new life force for their new baby. Camille launched Nourish Meal Delivery, an Ayurvedic pregnancy & postpartum meal delivery service with allergy-free & diabetic cooking. Camille is experienced in stabilizing all conditions postpartum, knowing the cause and results of certain properties in herbs and foods, their effects on breast milk composition & quality, increasing milk production, and balancing vata dosha in the body vital to detoxing and healing immediately after birthing and in the first 8 weeks. Training as a Hypnobabies Birth Doula after her clients opened up to her about situations they faced in pregnancy and during labor, she realized most could have been prevented had they & their partner known how to prevent common ailments or navigate the medical environment to advocate for themselves. Camille's thorough prenatal and postnatal education equips new parents to feel determined in their birth choices and parenting decisions, no matter the birthplace or parenting style. Camille helps foster maximum self-determination for expecting & new parents while transitioning to the journey of parenthood for their growing family.
