My goal is to use a birthing tub and labor and potentially birth in the tub. I would like to eat during labor and rest as much as I can. My husband will be there and be my biggest support, but my doula will also be there to coach me in positions and breathing techniques. I would like to feel my contractions as I push the baby out and not be coached in pushing. Once the baby is here, I want minimal rubbing and intervention. If my husband and I could deliver the baby I would love that. He will cut the cord once it runs white. No vaccines or eye ointment. I want to birth my placenta when it’s ready to come out and no tugging on the cord. Skin to skin right away for an hour and then my husband for an hour. Low lights, soft music, red light, quiet peaceful space.

My husband and I would like help finding the best place for our baby’s delivery, and are torn between home birth and a good birthing center/hospital experience. Our Budget has not been set, but we’d like to keep costs as low as possible while still finding a good place for me to give birth.
