I’m looking for a doula who will assist in developing a birth plan. I will give birth in a hospital but un-medicated. I need a couch for birth. I want someone certified with multiple years of experience. If someone is knowledgeable about hEDS, that is a bonus but not required.

I am a trans man (female to male) pregnant with my 1st child. Birth tentatively planned for OSU Wexner Medical Center w/ OSU Midwifery Group. Budget semi-flexible, TBD based on services available. I am hoping to have a low-intervention birth, and ideally a waterbirth. I do not want to be induced or have an epidural, but would consider other methods for pain relief. I am looking for someone with experience consulting new parents on breastfeeding, especially for people who have had a major reduction. I had peri-areolar type of reduction (incisions around areola, nipples+areola left intact) and may be able to breastfeed. You should be comfortable working with LGBT+ people.

Delivering at home. This will be my second VBAC. Would love to use my insurance if possible. I have primary and a secondary. Planning water birth as natural and homeopathic as possible. Looking for chiropractor and acupuncturist to help with getting me ready for labor. Would love doula to be at our home during delivery to assist me and my boyfriend. This is baby number 6.
