I have always been against being pregnant but I might need to to get the kids we want. I hate and am terrified of needles. I have had horrible Dr/hospital experience and would want to avoid at all costs. Debating an at home water birth and water has always made me feel better. I am mid 30s, never had a kid before do not want any intervention. Would need someone who spoke English, had a good real record and is willing to work with my fears/ anxiety, and needs. Would like insurance- blue cross blue shield Florida to cover it all
A midwife that isn't too far and accepts my insurance (caresource) I plan to give birth at Summa but can at a different hospital if needed.
I am a first time mother and don't know what to expect. I have been nervous about the lack of communication from my OB's office and need general education and reassurance more than anything. I need to know what questions to ask. I don't know enough about this to know what my budget should be. I just need more information.
I am looking for a midwife for homebirth in my area. My budget is $1,000. I would love a peaceful environment, placenta encapsulation, lotus birth.
Minimal prenatal appointments and homebirth assistance

Plan to give birth at home Want a safe, religious breathe work labor and delivery Knowledge of delivery after having a miscarriage
Birth plan is hopefully unmedicated, natural birth. I am having twins and already am hearing from doctors and family members that "It's too much, just do a C-section" I don't want to have a C-section and I want to avoid an epidural if possible. I don't have really much in the list category yet but that's my main goal. And hopefully minimal tearing if there's tricks to prevent that. No routine episiotomy. Not sure on a budget, not sure how much a doula or a midwife would cost. I plan to give birth at Akron General, but nothing set in stone.
Hi! My name is Shelby, and my boyfriend and I are expecting our first baby around March 17, 2027. We are planning a homebirth and I’m currently looking for a midwife that services around the Rootstown area. I’d love to talk with you about your services and availability if you’re interested! Thank you 😊
I just want to be home, in my own environment to be able to give birth to my baby. I am a nurse but I am not well versed in the complications that can come with pregnancy and delivery. I want to be at home, with a water birth. I know your time is valuable and was hoping of a budget around 1,800. I would like to talk over the phone about typical birth and what to do if something happens. This is my first baby, again I do not know much.
I am 6 weeks pregnant for the first time, completely lost, looking for options. I want to go as naturally as possible.. I wanted a birthing center but after having found out that the options are hospital or home birth, I want to go the route of home birth. I’m really looking for someone to help me take next steps, to help me navigate pregnancy and birth with prenatal appointments, etc, and inform me of my choices.
Canton area birth Natural birth Non-medicated Limited budget Preferred home birth
Hi, I'm reaching out in search of a birth doula. I came across your website and your approach looks like a great fit. I had a doula for my first birth in Columbus at Riverside Hospital. Some info about me: I'm due October 16; I'm at almost 31 weeks. My daughter arrived 3 weeks early and I'll admit... I'm hoping her brother will too. I am a single mom by choice and do not have a partner; you would be my primary support person.I live in Canton, Jackson Township. I did my first labor/delivery unmedicated and hope to do the same for the second. I'm an older mom (44 years old) and am worried that the OB team will push for inductions and a c-section; so, I'm really hoping my doula can help me advocate for myself in those situations. If there is an emergency and a c-section is required, I will take that route though. I'm currently with Stark Women's OB team that delivers at Aultman, but I'm not opposed to switching to a team that delivers at Summa if it's not too late. Please let me know if you're available and interested! I look forward to speaking with you soon. Best, Mackenzie
Hello! Jillian Barker recommended you to me because I'm looking for someone who accepts insurance. I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby and I've never had a doula before but I would like to have one this time around!
