I am a first time mother and don't know what to expect. I have been nervous about the lack of communication from my OB's office and need general education and reassurance more than anything. Birth plan is hopefully unmedicated, natural birth. I am having twins and already am hearing from doctors and family members that "It's too much, just do a C-section" I don't want to have a C-section and I want to avoid an epidural if possible. I don't have really much in the list category yet but that's my main goal. And hopefully minimal tearing if there's tricks to prevent that. No routine episiotomy. Not sure on a budget, not sure how much a doula or a midwife would cost. I plan to give birth at Akron General, but nothing set in stone.
