About me

My name is Carisa Bustillos Givens, and I have been counseling clients from a wide range of backgrounds since 2007. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Grief Specialist, assisting clients who present with a wide range of concerns, including grief, perinatal loss, and life transitions. I also specialize in work and career-related stress and family-dynamic challenges. My counseling style is warm and interactive, and my approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused counseling. I am bilingual in Spanish, committed to tailoring our communication and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I am also in the process of completing my Perinatal Mental Health Certification, PMH-C, by November 2021.
