About me

Hello, my name is Caroline Bush Lindsey, founder of DeStress Bump and Beyond Doula. I am a dedicated Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Comfort Measures Doula with over five years of experience supporting mothers and families through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum journey. My goal is to create a calm, supportive, and encouraging environment where every mother feels heard, respected, informed, and cared for. I provide emotional support, comfort measures, education, advocacy, breathing and relaxation techniques, positioning support, and reassurance while honoring each family’s individual birth preferences and needs. At DeStress Bump and Beyond Doula, I believe no mother should feel alone during such an important time. It is my passion and privilege to walk alongside families from the bump, through birth, and beyond.

At DeStress Bump and Beyond Doula, I provide compassionate and personalized Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Comfort Measures Doula services. I support mothers and families throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period by providing emotional encouragement, education, reassurance, and hands-on comfort techniques. During labor, I offer support with breathing, relaxation, positioning, movement, massage, birthing balls, and other comfort measures to help mothers feel calm, supported, and confident. My postpartum services focus on helping mothers adjust after birth by offering emotional support, newborn care guidance, breastfeeding and feeding support, recovery encouragement, and helpful community resources when needed. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment while honoring each family’s individual needs, preferences, and birth experience.

DeStress Bump and Beyond Doula Birth • Postpartum • Comfort Measures Compassionate support from the bump, through birth, and beyond. Basic Support Package — $650 Perfect for families seeking hands-on comfort and labor support. Includes: One prenatal visit Birth preference discussion Comfort measures education Breathing and relaxation techniques Positioning and movement support Massage and counter-pressure Birthing ball and peanut ball support Up to 8 hours of in-person labor support Phone and text support Additional labor support: $50 per hour after 8 hours Essential Birth Package — $1,200 For families who want preparation, education, and continuous birth support. Includes: Complimentary consultation Two prenatal visits Birth plan preparation Labor and delivery education Phone and text support during pregnancy On-call availability beginning at 38 weeks Continuous labor and birth support Comfort measures throughout labor Partner support and guidance Immediate postpartum support One postpartum follow-up visit Premium Birth & Beyond Package — $1,500 Complete support before, during, and after birth. Includes: Complimentary consultation Two prenatal visits Personalized birth plan support Pregnancy and labor preparation On-call availability beginning at 38 weeks Continuous labor and delivery support Full comfort measures support Immediate postpartum support Two postpartum home visits Breastfeeding and feeding support Newborn care education Maternal recovery support Community resource referrals Ongoing phone and text support Postpartum-Only Services $40 per hour — 3-hour minimum Services may include: Emotional support Breastfeeding and feeding assistance Newborn care guidance Maternal recovery support Newborn cues and routine education Light baby-related organization Partner and family support Community resource referrals Postpartum Package — $450 Includes four 3-hour postpartum visits. Payment Information A deposit is required to reserve birth doula services. Flexible payment arrangements may be available. Remaining balances are due before the on-call period begins. Medicaid Medicaid-covered doula services may be available for eligible clients. Coverage and approved services depend on the client’s Medicaid health plan and authorization. I offer Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Comfort Measures Doula services, including prenatal education, birth planning, labor support, comfort techniques, emotional support, and postpartum guidance. When should I hire a doula? You can contact me at any stage of pregnancy. Booking early gives us more time to prepare, discuss your birth preferences, and build a supportive relationship. Can I have a doula if I want an epidural or C-section? Yes. I support families with many different birth plans, including epidurals, inductions, VBACs, planned C-sections, and unmedicated births. Will my partner still be involved? Absolutely. I work alongside your partner and help them feel confident and included in supporting you throughout labor and birth. Do you offer postpartum support?
