My passion and mission is to instinctively and directly provide education, support, and comfort during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum period for mommy and partner. I value creating a special bond with the parents through several prenatal appointments, labor and birth, and postpartum appointments at their home. While medical staff focus on the health of the baby and family tend to focus on the new bundle of joy, I focus on taking care of mom and partner. My attention is solely on you while you take care of your new little one.

I’m a loving, caring, patient & fun caregiver who absolutely genuinely loves working with infants. I’m a Doula, Postpartum Doula, New Born Specialist, in home care provider w/experience in Pediatric care w/INFANTS & Toddlers and Respite care. I have experience w/preemies & special needs as well. I believe all infants should be happy, safe, comforted, & taught all the milestones they need to prepare for elementary school. So I take my career very seriously & have a Passion for it. I’ve been on this wonderful Journey of working w/children for 13Yrs now. Which includes multiples & preschool teaching and children between newborns to 16yr olds. so I’m able to provide parental coaching and infant purées as well. 

My name is Melissa Wiedel I am The Bon Bébé Doula with comprehensive training in child development and family systems. I have worked with families in a variety of settings for over 25-years to include: home, child care centers, medical clinics, classrooms & churches; in public, private, religious, & military sectors. ​ I have a strong passion for supporting families and caring for children. I believe in the importance for all members of a family to feel truly supported during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, and it’s an honor to hold that space for others. With a background in child development and early intervention, I bring both knowledge and heart to my work. As a postpartum doula, trained with DONA, as well as a longtime nanny and child development specialist, my foremost priorities lie in helping my clients to feel safe, heard, and cared for. My approach is warm and grounded, offering encouragement, compassion, gentle guidance, and a steady presence so you never feel alone on your journey. Aside from child care and postpartum work...I am a lover of interior design, a master of baking, and my two fur babies, Ellie and Trina!

Courtney Marie Gladden is an experienced voice on all things parenting and baby through early childhood. Originally from Cincinnati, OH Courtney relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2007 to attend Howard University. After Courtney’s son Lenox was born she felt called to support other families during the critical newborn period. She trained as a postpartum doula and newborn care specialist working with countless families as they welcomed new babies, navigated developmental milestones and sleep challenges, and worked to establish loving boundaries with their toddlers. Courtney is now an International Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Pediatric Sleep Coach with over twelve years of experience. She brings a level of professionalism and care that is apparent in all she does. She has worked with hundreds of families and believes we should actively work against the trend of parent shaming and guilt by instilling confidence in parents. Courtney’s methods are rooted in evidenced with an emphasis on minimize risk to reduce parental anxiety and burnout. Courtney currently resides in Baltimore County with her husband, Kyle, 12-year-old, Lenox, 3-year-old Selah, and 1-year-old August.. She enjoys connecting with other parents, family walks, bike rides, and of course, coffee. Courtney’s clients describe her as a calming presence. She prides herself on being knowledgeable without being pushy and dedicated to the most up-to-date evidence-based practices.
