I’m a certified Doula, Yoga Instructor, and Lactation Consultant based in Pittsburgh, with experience supporting clients who speak Swahili, Spanish, Portuguese, Pashto, Russian, and Dari. I specialize in using natural comfort measures to help make labor faster, more comfortable, and empowering. I support all types of births—unmedicated, medicated, and C-sections—as well as pregnancy loss as a bereavement doula. As a mother of two, my journey began in 2015 after a traumatic birth experience and the loss of my son. That experience inspired my mission to redefine the birth experience and ensure every mother feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. My role is to uplift you, honor your choices, and provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care every step of the way.

My passion for caregiving and holistic well-being runs deep within my soul. From a young age, I have always been drawn to helping others and making a positive impact on their lives. This drive led me to pursue this career, where I have found my true calling in aiding families during their most vulnerable moments. I approach caregiving with a holistic mindset, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. By integrating traditional practices with alternative therapies, I strive to provide comprehensive and personalized care that addresses all aspects of one's health. My work is not just a job, but a calling that fills my heart with purpose and fulfillment. Building meaningful relationships with parents and their families, offering comfort and support during times of uncertainty and distress, brings me immeasurable joy and satisfaction.

I've always been passionate about pregnancy and birth, reproductive justice, and mental health. Being a doula naturally combines all of those! After I attended my first birth, I was instantly drawn to being a birth partner. Shortly after, I expanded my expertise to becoming a postpartum doula and lactation counselor, and then gave birth to my own child in 2021. I became a childbirth educator in 2025. I love being a doula because it gives me the opportunity to mentor birthing people and their families, to uplift them in advocating for their reproductive and mental health, and to validate their feelings, instincts, and celebrations. Every person has a right to be supported before, during, and after their birth. Birth is big. It comes with such a spectrum of emotions, joys, challenges, and experiences. I support parents to utilize their own strengths and abilities through all of the “bigness” of birth. I want to provide birthing people with a comforting, nonjudgmental, and empowering support as they and their families go through this exciting and sometimes emotionally intense life transition. I believe that every person deserves love and support; there is nothing special that you need to do or know or be in order to be worthy of it. Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are unique to each and every person, and I honor each individual's choices. I offer my services to individuals and families of all walks of life.
