About me

Hello everyone, my name is Casey Carroll.. I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula located in Smyrna, DE and the founder of Nurturing Waves Doula Services! I absolutely love supporting births, it’s truly a passion I’ve had my whole life! I am always educating myself as much as I can to have the best and most up to date evidence based knowledge there is. I believe birth can be calm and peaceful if we set the right atmosphere. Knowledge is power and so is having great support! I am a judgment-free zone for all parents seeking informational, emotional, and physical support. In my free time, I love being outdoors (especially hiking), spending time with all four of my children, and working on projects with my husband. I can not wait to support, empower, and celebrate with you 🩵

I’m here to help serve you in knowledge, physical support, choices, and advocacy from pregnancy to postpartum! We will use positive affirmations, positions, psychological guidance, and much more to make your journey one of the best yet. Newborn care, Breastfeeding support, household chores, and rest are essential to a healthy postpartum life and I am here to help! I believe everyone should be able to have this support no matter of financial circumstances. Sliding scale of pricing is available!

•3 prenatal appointments •24/7 On call services starting at 38 weeks (call or text) •In person support during labor and delivery. •1-2 hours of immediate postpartum/Breastfeeding support •1 postpartum appointment after delivery (1-3 weeks after) depending on clients wants.
