Hi, I'm Catherine! I live in Hyattsville with my husband, 2.5 YO son and puppy named Daisy. After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2014, I traveled around doing some mission work, met my husband while living in Maine and eventually we landed back in my hometown to start a family. I love spending time at the beach, going for walks outside, a little coffee with my cream, fuzzy socks, loud country music, driving with the windows down, bonfires, sweater weather, cooking and baking from scratch, salted caramel, mom groups and Gilmore Girls. I believe that birth is meant to work, and that all women deserve support, encouragement and respect while they are birthing their beautiful baby! Let me walk with you on this journey towards motherhood however that looks for you. I am happy to support you with in-person or virtual doula services. I am trained in Hypnobirthing and Lamaze techniques, and currently working towards certification with Madriella Birth Doula Certification. Catherine was our support system for the birth of our first daughter. She taught us so much as we prepared to welcome our daughter, and she was the cheerleader I needed by my side during delivery. She was always available for random questions/concerns and she helped us get the information we needed to feel confident in the decisions we made at the hospital and beyond. As a Catholic family, it was also really nice to have another strong Catholic woman praying for us and with us throughout the whole process. I have recommended Catherine to friends considering hiring a doula, and I will continue to do so.

Catherine was an amazing doula! I was particular about only wanting a support person who was confident in their knowledge and strengths to see if we’d be a good fit, but also warm and fully present during labor and delivery - all of which she did excellently! I believe that every mother has a right to choose the type of birth she wants, and the people she wants in her birth space, so I support the mother wherever she feels safest to birth.

How much do you charge?

I have package options ranging from $1600-$2800 depending on what you're looking for, and I can create a custom package if you need a different combination of support.
