About me
Hello parents, I am Chaneil, affectionately called Channa and i am a certified newborn care specialist and birthing doula, located in Queens New York. Being in this field for over 11 years I have had the opportunity to care for babies and families from diverse ethnic backgrounds, not only in the Tri state area but I also travel to other states to do the same, namely California, Connecticut, Florida, Massachussets, etc. I bring extensive experience in many areas, working with multiples and preemies as young as 28 weeks, visually impaired babies, extreme colic, babies with respiratory issues. I am also the mother of two children, both delivered via C-section which provides me with real life experience. I take pride in training new parents and i guarantee you will be confident parents, and your bundle of joy will be on a great feeding and sleeping schedule in no time. Chaniel came to us when our baby was 3 days old. She is a walking, talking baby manual who brought sanity back to our home. By 12 weeks our baby was sleeping through the night. Chaniel was extremely helpful in getting baby on a schedule that promotes healthy sleep and play patterns. The result being two relieved parents and a happy, healthy baby. I hired her for overnight care of my son as I was going insane from a lack of sleep. She was extremely calm and easy to make arrangements with since the day I connected with her I wanted her to start the same day.
