I plan to give birth at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg and I’ve been wanting a doula. I don’t know much about any of the process. My pregnancy has been rough and any energy I have goes to my job. I have no idea about a birth plan other than to deliver. I want to try natural and try water but I might cave with the epidural. This is my first baby and I’d like someone with experience with first time moms in labor.
I am due October 5th, 2026 and want to give birth at Sentara hospital in Harrisonburg, Va! I am looking for a birth doula to provide physical and emotional support. I have Medicaid and would need a doula that can be fully covered by Medicaid. I am 21 weeks and a first time mom so I am still figuring out my birth plan.
I plan to give birth in the hospital, it is my first pregnancy so I figured having someone there to talk me through it and advocate for me is really important. I am really hoping to do an all natural birth if possible.
