I plan to give birth at St Francis Hospital, I want an advocate for my birth plan and someone who is a lactation consultant for after I give birth I would need someone who takes insurance
I am currently on my second pregnancy with twins! I reside in Fredericksburg but do plan to give birth at Stafford hospital, just like I did with my first. I am hoping to go natural but am flexible in my birth plan due to the risks of having twins (preterm labor, c section, etc). I am mostly looking for someone that can help provide care during the nights in the very beginning for the twins. I will be breastfeeding so I’ll be up as well but am really wanting help on changes, potential bottle feed once or twice through the night while I pump, and putting them back to sleep. I hardly slept with my first and struggled deeply with PPD and would like to avoid that at all cost. I am open to any caregiver but would prefer female only, and at least 2-4 years experience.

This is my first baby. I plan to give birth in a hospital (Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA). I plan to labor at home until I am approaching active labor, then my husband and I will go to the hospital. I am not intending to have an epidural because I want to be able to move around and labor in different birthing positions.
