This is my first ever pregnancy, I'll probably give birth in a hospital but I'm not exactly sure, I'm really scared about something going wrong in the delivery room and I need someone I can count on to advocate for me, I don't have a specific birth plan yet, I'm hoping to find a doula that is in network with my insurance (blue cross blue shield of Michigan - my parents' insurance), and this doula has to be able to be physically with me at my birth, so local in Virginia near Fredericksburg. I'm open to discussing what's available for before labor, during labor, and for postpartum afterwards. I just don't know how much money that would be so I don't quite know about a budget yet.
