Hello, My name is Nyesha, and I’m the founder of Essential Mystic Showers, a wellness brand focused on gentle, aromatherapy-based self-care for prenatal and postpartum women. I’m reaching out because we are developing a small, no-cost wellness pilot program designed to support moms during pregnancy and the postpartum period, and we would love to explore partnering with organizations/ people who are already doing incredible work in this space. The pilot is a short, 7-day self-care experience where participating moms receive free shower-based aromatherapy products and complete brief, anonymous surveys focused on stress, sleep quality, and overall emotional well-being. The goal is to better understand whether these types of products are genuinely helpful for moms during this season of life. There are no medical claims, no treatment protocols, and no obligation for participants beyond optional feedback. All data collected is anonymous and shared in aggregate only. We would love to offer this pilot to a small group of moms you serve and provide your organization with a summary of the findings afterward. If this sounds aligned with your mission, I’d love to schedule a brief call to walk through the details and see if this could be a good fit. Warmly, Nyesha Founder, Essential Mystic Showers [Www.emshowers.com] [Social Media: Essential Mystic Showers]
We will be giving birth at Sentara Leigh Hospital, ideally without an epidural. We are most concerned with getting reasonable sleep for the first 8-13 weeks and would like a night nurse for 4-5 nights a week for the first 4 weeks, and the. 3 nights a week for the next 8-10 weeks depending on the need. Other postpartum services that would be helpful would be some lactation consulting and referrals to Pelvic floor physical therapy and being an advocate for the mother. Estimated budget for a night nurse would be $30-35 an hour for 9 hours a night
