Looking for a birthing doula. Will be giving birth at Sentara Leigh hospital
We plan to have a home birth, we are hoping that we can find some covered services under TRICARE. Outside of that our budget depending on the service.
Plan to give birth in a hospital As cheap as possible just need minimal help with the specifics Birth plan might need help figuring that out
- Must be female - Must accept Tricare Prime - If co-pay is involved, please offer installment payments - Planned water birth, I'm a first time mother - Please have experience taking care of newborn and coaching parents, I know little and need to learn everything - I have a midwife that will be performing the birth at home - If possible, please help with duties around the house
I plan to have a hospital birth using nitrous oxide, possibly an epidural if I really feel the need. My husband and I are Christians so it is important that we have someone who will respect our faith work with us. Our estimated budget is less than $1000.
I will give birth to the hospital , I had a c-section with my first and now im hoping for a VB.
We will be giving birth at Sentara Leigh Hospital, ideally without an epidural. We are most concerned with getting reasonable sleep for the first 8-13 weeks and would like a night nurse for 4-5 nights a week for the first 4 weeks, and the. 3 nights a week for the next 8-10 weeks depending on the need. Other postpartum services that would be helpful would be some lactation consulting and referrals to Pelvic floor physical therapy and being an advocate for the mother. Estimated budget for a night nurse would be $30-35 an hour for 9 hours a night
Tricare approved provider not sure where I want to give birth
I’m primarily looking for help caring for my 2 year old son (3 on 9/1/26) during the postpartum period. I would like our provider to be CPR certified and capable of caring for our son mostly in the home while I’m caring for our newborn daughter. Mainly playing and spending time with him. We will take care of cooking and preparing our son’s meals, so all we’d need is assistance with serving and monitoring meal time. Our estimated budget is $150/week.
plan to give birth at Sentara Leigh budget depends on servies provided
I'm look for someone who is very knowledgeable who can help with techniques for a natural birth. A doula that can help with a birth plan the do's and don'ts. A doula that will support the baby and I. A doula that can give a different perspective.
I plan on giving birth at a hospital. My husband will be on deployment and this is my first pregnancy. I do not have family near me to help support me mentally and emotionally and necessarily give me the information i need for child birth.
I have a question due to my first pregnancy was a c-section and my second pregnancy was a horrible experience where I requested a c-section would it be carry for me to want a try for a natural birth my first pregnancy I dilated 4 1/2 centimeter before I had an emergency c-section but my second I was dilated 1 and contractions were back to back but no assistance with breaking water or stripping cervix nor would they let me walk the halls due to my doctor was not there. I just want to know where I stand with all my options before I get boxed in with my doctor I have now who says no but I have no health issues nor was I told this is a high risk pregnancy but I will say I’ll be turning 35 in august before I deliver
I’m not sure what it is that i want to do at this moment I'm very early on
