Giving birth at Sentara Leigh hospital but hoping to go through the midwifery program. My hope is to avoid unnecessary medical interventions, but I’m worried I might cave or not be able to handle it so I need a good support team. I need her to speak English and be certified.

I plan to give birth at Inova Fairfax Women's Center. I live in Fredericksburg VA. I am looking for a Christian/ Christ centered doula who is well versed in high risk black maternal health. MUST ACCEPT CareFirst (Private BCBS). I would only like services that will be covered. UPDATE: Seeking postpartum care for a few weeks to help me and my husband get acclimated to things. MUST: Accept CareFirst Insurance. We cannot afford out of pocket.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. I would like to find a doula who will advocate for me, and provide guidance on more holistic ways to aid in pregnancy.

This will be my second home water birth. I plan to have my baby naturally and unmedicated. I like to be very hands on and prefer someone who is okay taking the backseat or driving so to speak, whenever I express so. I want to avoid a hospital birth but if it’s necessary I’m willing to listen to the advice of a midwife but if I am uncomfortable with something I will say so. I prefer someone who has attended and assisted many births, at least 200. I’d like to find a birth center or in home midwife that can be covered or partially covered by Medicaid and I have anthem health keepers plus. If out of pocket, I’d like to stay close to $4,000 for prenatal care and birth. I’d like a person who is knowledgeable in breastfeeding and who can assist immediately after birth or direct me to someone who can.

Military hospital is where I plan to give birth. I would say our estimated budget 2 thousand. We want to have an epidural, push when my body feels it not when told, immediate skin to skin, delayed cord clamping. Experienced enough to help with an easy birth. I am 21 and this is my first kid and I want to breast feed.
