This is my second pregnancy, I’m due December 11! I am being transferred to EVMS as my OB because I want to try VBAC and my previous OB in Chesapeake will only do repeat c-sections. With my first I was induced at 37 weeks because he was IUGR ( most likely because he has Turner Syndrome, a chromosomal abnormality that makes him smaller in size basically) I was induced on a Wednesday and ended up having a C-section on a Friday morning due to failure to progress. My son’s heart rate was dropping because of the Pitocin. I have an appointment with EVMS on August 20 to confirm this baby is not IUGR. The doctor said I can try VBAC as long as I don’t have any complications this pregnancy and the baby isn’t IUGR. If so I will have a repeat c-section because I don’t think I could handle being induced again. I would like a doula who can support me in VBAC and physically and mentally prepare for this! It seems that VBACs don’t get the best support
