I am giving birth at Sentara Princess Ann around Halloween. This is my first baby (girl) and I am 26 years old. I plan to get the epidural and am not interested in going natural. I would like to avoid induction unless medically necessary. I am looking for a doula that excepts VA Medicaid

I'm look for someone who is very knowledgeable who can help with techniques for a natural birth. A doula that can help with a birth plan the do's and don'ts. A doula that will support the baby and I. A doula that can give a different perspective.

I plan to give birth at the hospital but labor at home as long as i am able to. I had an emergency c section for my first pregnancy and really looking forward to a VBAC under medical clearance. My husband and i are far from family and i would love extra support during labor and delivery.

-Norfolk General in Norfolk VA. -I’m not sure my budget, but I have Tricare select. - I would like a chance at a VBAC but have been labeled high risk and have a 25% chance of a successful VBAC according to my doctors -Someone who knows most about VBACs and when it’s safe to have one or not. As well as keeping me away from Pitocin -I’m 34, I plan to exclusively pump and use breast milk, I would like to not have pitocin during labor, have skin to skin after birth, and protect sleep in the middle of the night/crazy early morning after birth. -I have Tricare Select and will be giving birth in Norfolk VA.

I am interested in having a water birth in a calm, supportive setting. I am looking for a provider who is experienced with water births and can help me create a birth plan that fits my preferences.
