We are looking for an experienced overnight newborn care specialist, night nanny, or postpartum doula for our 3-week-old son. He was born at 36 weeks and is currently formula-fed. He has some gas and reflux symptoms and may require extra soothing and frequent feedings overnight. Mom is recovering from a C-section and severe preeclampsia and would benefit from consistent overnight support to allow for uninterrupted sleep and recovery. We would like assistance with overnight feedings, diaper changes, burping, soothing, and monitoring the baby throughout the night. We are looking for someone with newborn experience, infant CPR certification, and references. Experience with preterm infants and reflux/gassy babies is preferred.

I am currently on my second pregnancy with twins! I reside in Fredericksburg but do plan to give birth at Stafford hospital, just like I did with my first. I am hoping to go natural but am flexible in my birth plan due to the risks of having twins (preterm labor, c section, etc). I am mostly looking for someone that can help provide care during the nights in the very beginning for the twins. I will be breastfeeding so I’ll be up as well but am really wanting help on changes, potential bottle feed once or twice through the night while I pump, and putting them back to sleep. I hardly slept with my first and struggled deeply with PPD and would like to avoid that at all cost. I am open to any caregiver but would prefer female only, and at least 2-4 years experience.

In search of a postpartum doula or newborn specialist that offers Postpartum care, newborn care, newborn feeding, help with household tasks, overnight care.
We have three kids with a fourth arriving in July. We are experienced parents, but TIRED and looking for help during birth and in the first 2-3 months after birth at night. I breastfeed and it normally falls on me at night, but my husband does help with diapers and non feeding needs overnight. Birth plan: have a healthy baby. That's looked different for all three kids, so we are open minded. Hospital: we aren't sure yet, but ideally a hospital with a robust NNICU
Due in September, looking for a night nurse. I will be breast feeding, and I also have a 2 year old. You would only be needed for the newborn.
We will be giving birth at Sentara Leigh Hospital, ideally without an epidural. We are most concerned with getting reasonable sleep for the first 8-13 weeks and would like a night nurse for 4-5 nights a week for the first 4 weeks, and the. 3 nights a week for the next 8-10 weeks depending on the need. Other postpartum services that would be helpful would be some lactation consulting and referrals to Pelvic floor physical therapy and being an advocate for the mother. Estimated budget for a night nurse would be $30-35 an hour for 9 hours a night
