Help with birth preparation, labor & delivery & lactation before/after birth. Accepts Medicaid
I plan on giving birth at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and I would like have a doula present during birth and before to help prepare for birth. I would like to delivery naturally and unmedicated. I would like for my provider to have experience working with and advocating for African American mothers especially in a military facility. I would also like any consultation with lactation since I have gotten a breast augmentation. My budget is around 7K.
1. In Hospital 2. $1800 plus postpartum care 3. At this point my goals are to deliver a healthy baby, but postpartum lactation support is very important to me.
My daughter just turned 3 and I'm still nursing her to sleep. She's also never slept through the night. I don't have much income. I'm a SAHM so income is limited. My daughter nurses while I'm using the bathroom or just laying down. She's nursing more and she has a tantrum every time I tell her no. I'm so over the breastfeeding. I just want some peace.

Home birth. Would like insurance to cover majority of costs. Out of pocket is negotiable. Will describe over a call or visit.
I would like to have a non-medicated water birth in my home. I would Like for the umbellical cord to stay in place for as long as it lives. I plan to use Tricare insurance to pay for a certified nurse midwife on this journey. This is my first birth, but I’m considered high risk given that I’m 44 years old. I have a dear friend who will act as a doula and my husband will be present.
Im 6 weeks pp with a low supply. Baby has a great latch but I'm unable to produce enough mill to feed her. I have to supplement with formula made to meet the 28 calorie per feed. I want to get rid of the formula and focus on breastfeeding.
I just need help. My milk supply has been slowly going down since I got my period back 4.5 months pp. I am nearly 9 months pp and am struggling to produce enough milk for my son who has barely started solids. I am a working mom and need to pump during the day, but it seems no matter what supplements I take, flange sizes I use, or how much I relax, it just keeps going down. I don’t want to supplement formula. I can’t afford a different pump and I’m on a tight budget overall. I just need some guidance.
Certified lactation consultant who I can see in person.
