This will be my second home water birth. I plan to have my baby naturally and unmedicated. I like to be very hands on and prefer someone who is okay taking the backseat or driving so to speak, whenever I express so. I want to avoid a hospital birth but if it’s necessary I’m willing to listen to the advice of a midwife but if I am uncomfortable with something I will say so. I prefer someone who has attended and assisted many births, at least 200. I’d like to find a birth center or in home midwife that can be covered or partially covered by Medicaid and I have anthem health keepers plus. If out of pocket, I’d like to stay close to $4,000 for prenatal care and birth. I’d like a person who is knowledgeable in breastfeeding and who can assist immediately after birth or direct me to someone who can.

Breastfeeding support for suspected silent reflux. Will arch back and have trouble finding, but latches well. Also I had a fast let down with my first, so I believe I do still with my second now.

I need a birth doula for sure. I plan to give birth at Sibley hospital in DC. Budget is negotiable, although I'd like to stay under $2,000 if possible. I would like someone with at least 5 years' experience. I'm a 46-year-old first-time mom. My insurance provider is Carefirst BCBS. Doulas are a covered benefit. I have a BluePreferred PPO plan. I had a c section in Sept of 2024 and want to try for a vbac this time around. I plan to give birth at Prince William hospital UVA. I would like to have a medicated vbac but would like to labor as long as possible without the epidural. I would like an experienced Doula with extensive vbac experience. My budget is around $1000

We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I’m really nervous about labor and delivery. I want an epidural and am good with medical intervention. I’m nervous that my husband won’t be calm during the birthing process. My milk came in slowly and then I was starting to gain it and would get up to 7-8 ounces every pump and then for some reason it just dropped and I would get .25-2 ounces every pump and I’ve tried hydromom water packets, colostrum supplements, hand pumps, hand expressions, warm compressions, massaging before and during pumps, drinking lots of water, pumping every 2 hours and in taking protien and unless I’m drinking body armors my breast won’t fill and I’m barely getting anything out during pumping sessions I was drinking them alot at first then when my milk production dropped I stopped drinking them to see if it would go back up then started trying the rest of what I’ve tried

Would like to find a ibclc that takes Medicade to help with baby’s poor weigh gain but if they don’t take insurance are reasonably priced possibly with payment plan.

I plan to give birth at Inova Hospital in Annandale, VA. I don’t have an estimated budget I want to try to go all natural. A holistic, Christian Doula. Teach me how to breastfeed. Tricare Select is my insurance.
