Baby is not latching and need help , and my insurance is Medicaid

We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.

I need a birth doula for sure. I plan to give birth at Sibley hospital in DC. Budget is negotiable, although I'd like to stay under $2,000 if possible. I would like someone with at least 5 years' experience. I'm a 46-year-old first-time mom. My insurance provider is Carefirst BCBS. Doulas are a covered benefit. I have a BluePreferred PPO plan. I’m really nervous about labor and delivery. I want an epidural and am good with medical intervention. I’m nervous that my husband won’t be calm during the birthing process. I need someone who can help me be calm through it and help coach my husband through it. I also am nervous about being very vulnerable during birth and consent is very important for me and want to make sure I feel comfortable and not taken advantage of. Giving birth at Sibley I’m also very nervous about postpartum. This is my first pregnancy

Second baby due in September. With my first born (dec 2024) I could only successfully latch him for a few days, after returning from the hospital we used the nipple shield to help him latch and used it for a month before completely switching to exclusively pumping. Continued to pump for 10 months before milk slowly dried out. I want to be prepared this time on how to get baby to latch especially if I want to combo feed breastmilk through pumping and through breastfeeding.

Giving birth in a hospital - looking for someone who can provide birth support, lactation consulting, and post-partum support if possible.

I’m looking for a lactation consultant to help with my 2-month-old son who struggles with latching on one side. Would love to find someone who does laser therapy on nipples, they are so hurt and constantly sensitive to the touch.

This is my second baby and I am having trouble breaking him and sometimes he makes these weird noise when drinking from a bottle or latching onto me. He also after burping he will spit up a couple times and sometimes even choke more than once after burping.

This will be my second home water birth. I plan to have my baby naturally and unmedicated. I like to be very hands on and prefer someone who is okay taking the backseat or driving so to speak, whenever I express so. I want to avoid a hospital birth but if it’s necessary I’m willing to listen to the advice of a midwife but if I am uncomfortable with something I will say so. I prefer someone who has attended and assisted many births, at least 200. I’d like to find a birth center or in home midwife that can be covered or partially covered by Medicaid and I have anthem health keepers plus. If out of pocket, I’d like to stay close to $4,000 for prenatal care and birth. I’d like a person who is knowledgeable in breastfeeding and who can assist immediately after birth or direct me to someone who can.
