We’re moving midway through the pregnancy to the DC region, Maryland side. We’ll probably live in the Rockville area but I’m hoping to give birth with the midwives at George Washington University’s hospital. I’m looking for a labor doula to support an unmediated birth. I also struggled with low supply with my first child so I’m hoping to find a lactation consultant who specialises in that. We have Tricare, which covers both doulas and IBCLCs.

Baby is not latching properly, want to pursue pumping but getting a low supply + some pain when using wearable pump. I have Spectra S1 (with 16 mm flanges that feel ok) and Momcozy Air 1 with 15 mm flanges that pinch.

I am 26 years old and this is my first child so I would like someone to just give me advice and basically be there for me through this journey. I would like to give birth at a birthing center close to a hospital if I need to go to it, but I am not opposed to going to the hospital I just don't want to have the baby on my back. My budget is under $2,000 preferably. I also would like to try and breast feed to know what drinks or food I can intake now to help with that. I am also a picky eater so helping me come up with a balanced diet would also be a great help as well. I just would like to prep on what I should be doing each month and things I need to order so that I can already have it before the baby comes.

I am looking for a doula to have guidance on having a mother vaginal birth following a cesarean birth from my last pregnancy. I want to avoid that happening again and especially avoid that healing process I had to go through with my little boy.

I am a size 38F breasts. My son is a 35 week preemie so he’s 7 weeks old. Just had a tongue tie cut 6/23. My milk supply hasn’t come in yet but he is now latching SOMETIMES. This will be my second home water birth. I plan to have my baby naturally and unmedicated. I like to be very hands on and prefer someone who is okay taking the backseat or driving so to speak, whenever I express so. I want to avoid a hospital birth but if it’s necessary I’m willing to listen to the advice of a midwife but if I am uncomfortable with something I will say so. I prefer someone who has attended and assisted many births, at least 200. I’d like to find a birth center or in home midwife that can be covered or partially covered by Medicaid and I have anthem health keepers plus. If out of pocket, I’d like to stay close to $4,000 for prenatal care and birth. I’d like a person who is knowledgeable in breastfeeding and who can assist immediately after birth or direct me to someone who can.

Looking for a birth doula that has experience with VBA2C births. Planning to give birth at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Someone who can advocate for me during labor to allow me to move freely and help me stick to my birth plan.
