This is my first birth and I've heard nothing but wonderful feedback around doulas as support systems. I plan to deliver in a hospital in Richmond VA. Medicaid indicated it covers doula services so I estimate my personal cost as $0. My birth plan is a vaginal delivery with as few interventions as possible. Though I'm not against epidurals, I'd like to be able to move around, use pain management like hydrotherapy and hypnobirthing and let labor/delivery progress naturally.

This is my last child, as I have 7 already. I'd like to experience this naturally and out of a hospital

I am working on breastfeeding my infant and I am having trouble with him latching. I am using a latch shield but I fear that my son is not getting enough milk with the shield on. His doctors and I are concerned about his weight as well. He is slowly moving back up to his birthweight.
