Hospital. $120,000 household income Looking to have a natural birth without induction or an epidural. I would like to breastfeed exclusively at least for the first 4 months. Requirements: RN certification with 4-8 years of experience For a birth doula we're willing to pay between $1000-3000 for two days in the hospital with us. And an additional $1000 for at-home help like lactation consultancy, etc.
Right now I am unemployed so I use medicaid and I plan to give birth at the hospital.
We are insured by Kaiser so going to deliver at either INOVA Fair Oaks or Virginia health in Arlington. This is our first baby so I don’t have any sense of a birth plan or specific requirements. Looking for someone who’s calm and patient, and can walk me through every step of the way during labor and delivery. Muslim background would be a huge plus, but not required. Must speak English. Budget is around $1k
Postpartum support in taking care of mom and baby
I plan to give birth in a hospital I would like a doula covered by insurance if possible I would like to have a birth without a epidural, I am considering a birthing tub, and this pregnancy im hoping for a VBAC
Hello, I'm planning on delivering at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. This will be my 3rd birth and aiming for a VBAC (first was vaginal after several days of induction and long labor in 2022 and second was C-section after several days of induction and short period of pushing in 2024). My current doctor (used for my first birth) fully supports/encourages my choice for a VBAC. I'm looking for someone to help me navigate this birth, hopefully avoiding a C-section and understanding my options with inductions related to VBACs. Budgeting $2700 max
Birth at fair oaks hospital. Kaiser permanente coverage. Birth plan in progress.
This is my first child. I just need help understanding and learning the process. I need help preparing me for this birth learning what I can and cannot do.
I plan to give birth at Inova Alexandria or Fairfax. My budget is $2-3,000. I would like to give birth naturally without an epidural. I’d like someone with at least 5 years experience. I’d like someone who could help post partum recovery and newborn care, light cooking/cleaning, and laundry.
I would like to find a doula that is covered by Medicaid and do natural VBAC. Fairfax hospital
Fairfax Hospital VA Budget is small I just want emotional support during labor and birth
I plan to give birth at Inova Fairfax Hospital and use Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield to cover doula services (I confirmed they will cover). I plan to have a natural, unmedicated birth if possible, but due to certain risk factors my doctors think it is possible I will need a c-section.
I am hoping to give birth in a hospital and I would like to find a doula that accepts insurance. I am interested in having a natural birth with no induction. I am also open to having an epidural but I have 3 sisters who have all given birth naturally to all of their babies so I think I can do it too. I'm looking for additional support specifically at birth. My husband is very supportive but he also has some anxiety in medical situations and we both think it would be great to have an in-person doula for additional and experienced support.
1. Hospital 2. Not sure 3. Birth in hospital, no episiotomy, labor down for as long as possible l, no vaccum
Will give birth at INOVA Alexandria hospital. This is our second child, the first was an unscheduled C-section after a failed induction. Aiming for a TOLAC in the hopes of achieving a vaginal birth, although I will have a C-section scheduled for week 41 in case I don't go into labor naturally. My C-section recovery was technical smooth with no complications last time, but I did not feel like I received enough information or support immediately following birth about how to manage my recovery and ultimately was unprepared and struggled at home the first few weeks. I am seeking immediate postpartum support regardless of how birth goes to smooth out the adjustment period when I leave the hospital, at least for a few weeks.
Plan to give birth at Fair Oaks Hospital No budget I do not have a birth plan yet
Hospital birth with minimal to no medical intervention. I want a doula to advocate for me and my wants/needs during birth. Someone to help with advise on pain management since I don't want the epidural.
We prefer a doula-led birth with safety first. 2. We are open to an epidural if needed. 3. Please delay cord clamping if possible. 4. We want immediate skin-to-skin contact. 5. Baby will room with mom after birth. 6. We plan to breastfeed our baby.
1. I am giving birth at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. 2. Estimated budget is $100 per visit 3. Natural birth
1. Inova Fairfax Hospital 2. Not too pricey, insurance covered 3. No epidural, natural
