First time mom to be, I am 29 years old looking for a Tricare authorized birth and postpartum doula. Baby will be born at Winchester Medical Center Virginia, and I need some assistance on making decisions as far as the birth plan and what is the best route for me and my baby.
Giving birth in a hospital, estimated budget 2,000. Unsure of natural birth vs epidural. Looking for experienced doula with Christian faith.
Hospital birth All other details to be discussed
I’d prefer a doula with VBAC experience, laboring at home, hospital birth. Help with meal prep would be nice
Give birth in a Hospital I’m not sure about budget I would like to do a natural birth
We will be giving birth in the hospital. I'm not sure about budget, because I truly have no idea where to start. I am wanting to try to go unmedicated, delay the cord clamping until the cord is white and has stopped pulsing, no eye ointment after birth, baby directly on chest after birth for golden hour, no bathing vernix. That's all we've come up with so far but are continuing to research vaccinations!
I’d like to give birth at home and need full on care for this time. My budget is $4-6k if possible. I’m new to this had my past births were unnatural but in hospitals
I would like to have a natural home-birth so I'm looking for an experienced midwife to help me achieve that. I'm on Medicaid so I'm hoping that will cover the cost of having a midwife.
Plan to give birth at Fair Oaks Hospital No budget I do not have a birth plan yet
Hospital Anyone were comfortable with, is worth the money. Vaginal birth, natural, delayed cord clamping
Birth advocacy during hospital delivery Assistance with pain management Birth plan includes: no pain medication, no c section unless life threatening, no vacuum or prongs usage. Low intervention birth, will be delivering at the hospital. I don’t want formula to be fed for my baby I will plan to pump and have milk on reserve for hospital stay in case of emergencies. If necessary we can request donor breast milk. I don’t want to break my water, I want it to be as natural as possible. Budget $500-$1500
Hospital Insurance coverage Don’t have a birth plan
We prefer a doula-led birth with safety first. 2. We are open to an epidural if needed. 3. Please delay cord clamping if possible. 4. We want immediate skin-to-skin contact. 5. Baby will room with mom after birth. 6. We plan to breastfeed our baby.
I am giving birth in the midwifery unit of the hospital and would like an extra person there (besides my husband) who is able to support and advocate my needs when I might not be able to. My labor and delivery is going to be as natural and low intervention as it can be. Our budget would ideally be no more than $2,000 I think.
First child. Went thru IVF. Birthing support and spinning baby.
Due date is 6/28, planning for a vagina birth but have a scheduled c section on 6/29. I’ll hit 37 weeks on 6/8. Looking for support while in hospital through labor and post partum as family support may be limited. Once home I’ll need help with night feedings, I currently have a 2 year old. I plan on nursing and pumping.
I’m looking to hire a midwife or a doula or both! If I am able to find a midwife then I’d really like to do a home birth but if that ends up not being an option I would like to hire a doula for a hospital birth. My budget is $2500 but I am flexible and am looking to see if insurance will cover. I have WV Medicaid. I’m looking to have a natural birth with no interventions, and have a doula or midwife that will support and help make that happen. No age requirements, would prefer someone who has had at least one baby but if not that’s ok too! I’m a 21 year old married, first time mom! No special needs or requirements. Someone with knowledge on breastfeeding would be great as well!
