I plan to give birth at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. My budget will be through TriCare. I don't have a birth plan yet, but it I know it will include not getting an epidural, and being as active as possible. Prefer to give birth in an upright position, not lying on my back.

I plan on giving birth at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and I would like have a doula present during birth and before to help prepare for birth. I would like to delivery naturally and unmedicated. I would like for my provider to have experience working with and advocating for African American mothers especially in a military facility. I would also like any consultation with lactation since I have gotten a breast augmentation. My budget is around 7K.
Iām 34 years old and currently 31 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I plan to give birth at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. I currently donāt have health insurance, and am enrolled in VA Healthcare, which is the benefit that has been paying for all of my prenatal and maternity care thus far. My active duty fiance and I plan to get married mid-February, 2026, and I will then have Tricare Prime health insurance as his dependent. My estimated budget is whatever Tricare Prime will cover for a certified doula. My birth plan has not been created yet.
