Hi! I’m Chelsea Thoby, a certified postpartum doula with a Master’s in Public Health and a heart for serving moms and families in one of life’s most sacred transitions—parenthood. As a wife, mom, and nurturer by nature, I understand firsthand how overwhelming, beautiful, and life-changing those early postpartum moments can be. That’s why I created Peaceful Beginnings—a space where new parents can feel supported, heard, and empowered as they find their rhythm. My approach is grounded in compassion, evidence-based care, and a whole lot of grace. I believe the postpartum season is not just about recovery—it’s a time of rebirth for the whole family. I offer emotional support, hands-on care, and breastfeeding support to help you and your baby thrive. Whether you need someone to hold the baby while you rest, prepare a nourishing snack, talk through feeding challenges, or simply listen without judgment—I’m here for you. I provide virtual services and upon request in-person daytime support in 4-hour shifts. Let’s build your village, together.
