About Karrine

Hello! I am a certified Full Spectrum Doula whose work is shaped by lived experience across the full spectrum of life. I have naturally delivered eight babies and breastfed each for 22 months, breast to cup. I care for a family farm, homeschool my last two children, and live a faith-based life rooted in holistic health. I have supported my mother and grandmother during their end-of-life transitions and walked beside my daughter through an unassisted miscarriage at 16 weeks, 4 days. These experiences inform my commitment to gentle, informed, and deeply present care for mothers and families through birth, bereavement, and beyond. In my free time I enjoy furthering my education with classes and online learning. I also enjoy traveling, music, farming, cooking and just being with family.

Are there additional fees for long labors or travel?

There are no additional fees for long labors. My birth support includes continuous care throughout labor and delivery within a 12 hour period. Travel within my standard service area is also included. Labor that extends beyond the 12 hours or travel outside this area may include an additional fee, which will always be discussed and agreed upon in advance. My goal is transparency and accessibility, and I strive to work with families to meet their needs whenever possible.

Regarding Bereavement, are all services included in the $600?

Each family’s needs are different. Support is offered with flexibility, care and respect. We encourage families to reach out so care can be discussed gently and privately. The listed fee is a starting point and can be adjusted depending on each individual family’s needs.
